Of Wedding Festivities
A gown, a sari and a lehenga, Divya donned different looks at Tulsi and Hitesh’s wedding festivities but frankly, we can’t say we were fans of any. All her looks just felt so excessive. A wee bit of editing and we probably would’ve had different results. Out of the three, the sari look was the more striking one but it also felt rather filmy with the messy side-swept hair and gajra.
The one that we liked the least was the gown appearance. Between the curls and the necklace worn as a headband, she looked more like a kid playing dress up.

Tacky, tacky and tacky!
Tacky, tacky, tacky. The middle could have looked decent but you’re right, its very filmy. That reception dress totally looks like something a 16 year old girl would come up with in her design class. I can’t believe these people call themselves designers.
Egad! Second pic reminds me of chandramukhi! Raa raa
bang on…monjulika
hahahaha.. oh my god! That is hilarious!
I just thought the same thing haha! And like Chandramukhi she is rly scaring me..with this Look..
LOL…I’ve always said this about her. I guess the way I phrased my sentence never made it past the censors. Regardless of any outfit she wears, she reminds me of her. Those eyes and the smile.
LOL ! True !
Ugh what’s up with her! She desperately needs a stylist.
OTT each and every one.
this woman is queen of tackiness… she has no sense of style or aesthetics whatsoever. i think you should just stop featuring her here
She wore That gown to a family wedding reception? BDw,first look reminds me of mermaid, second look reminds me of manjulika, third look tells me,she is going to play a role of “apsara” in some hindi movie..nopes i don;t mean it in good way.. :P
She is trying too hard… Oh and also the middle and the right looks, was she also performing on stage or something?
She is a beautiful wonam..big eyes, dimpled smile n flawless complexion..but dn she hs no taste! Apart frm all d tackiness, she always hs this ‘shocked’ expression on her face..N its nt bcoz of her eyebrows shape..many women including myself hv wel defined brow arc… may b its d shiny makeup!
The wedding day outfit could have been salvagaed but the drape is awful.
i can’t believe how these people dress up so much .. they overshadow the couple getting married! its ridiculous! just coz u have pot loads of money doesn’t mea u dress up like its a costume party every time u step out of the house! #EPICFAIL
almost as if she is mocking herself, if that were even possible. can’t think of any other reason why someone would dress like this, in all their senses.
Scared to the very core of my being!
2nd and third is more from photo shoot of jewellery brand. 1st isn’t even worth considering. so much for variety!!
The saree and blouse are amazing but the hair totally spoils EVERYTHING. Makes it look so gimmicky…and THAT drape for a wedding!!???
almost feel like she is trying to upstage her sister’s wedding..
Oh dear….
how can she go from looking like she did at filmfare style party to this and most other events? She is almost always beyond tacky. What an eyesore!!!
Oh dear God! What is she in the first pic? a mermaid dancing in a bar?? And the second pic is the perfect example of how you spoil a kanjivaram look..The third is just an embarassment to the bride..how ott is that!
Out of the three only the wedding day outfit is good but it looks too filmy cause of the styling. For the rest the less said the better. She should be rewarded for maximum wtheyy looks on hhc :P
Disagree with you : the kanjeevaram look, albeit filmi, is absolutely gorgeous ! Stunning saree and blouse, fresh make up (love the coral lips!), beautiful jewellery, gajra,…
Despise the gown and don’t care much for the lehenga though.
The first time I’m seeing someone making a Sabyasachi look tacky !! Takes major skill (or none at all) That too at her sister-in-law’s wedding! She is getting attention all-right. Not the good kind.
She should just let her face talk and not let all this glitter and OTT costumes drown her!! I’d be thanking my genes if I had such a pretty face. Sadly, she’s flaunting her deep pockets out of sheer need to grab attention!!
IS it not really bad etiquette to dress this way for your sis in law’s wedding? (Or for any event on this planet for that matter)
Ugh! Ugh! And ugh!
Maybe if it were a Movie audition it would be a just about okay
But for a wedding, heck NO
In the first pic she forgot that it is a wedding reception and not sweet sixteen party
In the second pic she forgot that it is wedding and not a South Indian jewellery ad
In the last pic she forgot that it is mehendi and not a bollywood song shoot
She has money but no control on when to stop.
Call me childish, but I would publicy DISOWN my SiS-in-Law if she dressed like that at my wedding. Her outfits and overall demenour scream desperation and utter lack of class (very different from style, the lack of which is still tolerable). It really amazes me how people like her (and Natasha Poonawala) still get invited to weddings or any event. They would be on my Do-Not-Invite list.
The saree look could have been okay with a decent drape and 1/4th the jewelry, minus the exaggerated sindoor. The other two looks are laughable!
OMG! lol! each and every look made me crack up! why doesn’t she get a better stylist… she seems like shes trying so hard and going OTT all the time…the first outfit is a joke.. and such a nice sari made to look so terrible… she needs desperate help in looks and styling departm.. she has not heard the words simplicity and tone it down !!
the second look reminds me of manjulika a character played by vidya balan in some movie with akshay kumar!
eeew.
well, I just loved the wedding look and the lehanga 1 too.
I agree with SS – I too would disown my SIL if she turned up so OTT at my wedding. How does one distinguish between the bride with the SIL competing to look like a bride???
Hell Yeah!!
It is not even her wedding, she seems to be worried that she will be overshadowed by the new bride
