Can someone give some details about the saree? Like about its fabric, its name, kind of weave, place of origin etc. Dimple looks elegant. She dress as per age. Even in her suits appearances, she looks graceful. Neetu Kapoor should learn from her who make appearances only in girlish anarkalis and churidaars!
This looks like a Chanderi to me. But I could be wrong. However, I absolutely adore her. So graceful…
Looks like one of the Andhra weaves to me …. Venkatagiri, Dharmavaram ….Not 100% sure

It could be Venkatagiri also. The bhuta, border and fabric looks similar. My mom has some of them from her wedding time. They are dream sarees. She looks heavenly in them.

Lovely words. Thank you :) I collect those antique sarees and jewelry from my Mom and my both Grand Moms. Banares sarees and many more. They are indeed timeless treasures.

Bang on about Neetu Singh. She does seem to only dress in churidaars and even though she has a stunning face and figure , is a dignified person and she wears decent clothes – somehow she doesnt have that elegant clothes charisma.

It’s called Visarjan in Marathi.
Love the sari and Dimple in it! Although her coloring (light brown hair and eyes) does favor pastel shades a little bit more.
