The new hair on Abhishek is because of his role in the film Ravan.
Dev’s mum looks so proud…I am sure she is happy that she took him to audition for the part of slumdog. He looks great too.
I used to think Dev was just of a goofy guy, but he’s getting more and more handsome as time goes on. Or I just have a crush. :p

abhishek needs to cut the umbilical cord and do stuff without mum and dad. amitabh is a legend in his own right so he should have the confidence to have his own life and not overshadow aishwarya and abhishek. dev looks sweet. aishwarya has lovely glowing skin. jaya really messed up by wearing fur.

she never really suits that sort of hair style, face looks too big and round, I get the same problem. specially if you have strange ears, its a no no, she should have worn earrings, even little studs would have been better than bare ears.

Also this picture really shows how misguided Ash’s hairdo was. You need to be really, really, really pretty for that hair to work. Sadly it doesn’t work for her face at all.
I’ve seen Deepika look really fierce in that hairdo, but I guess there is a fine line between fierce and UNflattering.

some say its sexy to leave certain things to the imagination, I think Aish cleaveage is not desirable becasue she is small chested, if she would cover a little and wear a push up bra and show a little it would be mroe sexy than just wear a cut that is open up to her bellybutton with flat chest sorry to say this but I think the defination of sexy is not to show but to show the way that is flattering

guys, i didnt say she’s a bahu so she shouldnt show cleavage – i said her attempts to act like a dutiful bahu dont go wtih the way she dresses sometimes.. OTT cleavage, really unnecessary. I am as modern as the next person, but I REALLY would not bare so much if I knew my fil was going to be there. I dont think most Indian women would, celebrity or otherwise.. I wouldnt even wear that dress if my Dad were around. Its out of respect for that relationship, not because he would say something. He never would. I dont think her in-laws can or would say anythin

As regards the cleavage in front of fathers and fathers- in law, is it worse to dress like that in front of strangers who would only look at you as being a sexy object, or being comfortable enough in your own skin with one’s family, even though they be men?

I do not think its hypocrisy…dutiful bahu does not in anyway mean no skin show at all. She can dress in bikinis 24/7 for all it matters as long as she is loving, caring blah blah ….so don’t assume she is just “attempting” to be dutiful just because on a few occasions she has displayed her cleavage in front of her father in law.She has not disagreed to any skin show per say.. even in movies…that’s her job for god’s sake…If she chooses to wear more Indian clothes in Indian functions there is no problem with it at all.. It is her choice. Also, we should keep in mind the occasion…She probably had a stylist provided for her by the studio and she agreed to wear that. She agreed.. period.I would not wear a cleavage showing top in front of my dad.. That’s my equation with him…I cannot say the same for some of my friends. Point taken. Its not easy being in the limelight, and its easy to criticize. But Aishwarya is naturally classy. i like her and think she’s very intelligent and independent etc. That’s probably why I get disappointed with her lack of poise and natural ness on the international scene. Could it be that she has no exposure? very hard to imagine. She comes across as a wannabe when she’s taken out of India.. her fil and the cleavage issue notwithstanding… that is a tacky and unflattering look she’s got on…

what i dont get is why the bachchans move around in a pack all the time especially international stuff.. reminds me of rappers and their posses.. but in this case the lead rapper and posse members revolve.. but they are always together.. at least amar singh isnt there this time!! even at cannes the whole shabang was there looking like kids in a candy shop!
