It has become quite the trend to show up in character to promotional events. Rani did it first, then Isha followed and now we have Deepika who was seen promoting her character from ‘Chandni Chowk to China’ at the kickoff event of MTV Roadies 6.
If you ask us, we would have preferred to see her other avatar than the long haired one!

omg … she looks like a squirrel… i mean her hair …
leaving aside the way long hair, why is she wearing all black and dressed like she’s going to demonstrate either some form of martial arts or jump on a horse?
her face is so small anyways and this hairdo w/ bangs and extra long hair is making it even smaller….doesnt suit her one bit.
I like the bangs though, brings out her nice sharp features.

n she did perform sum stunts tho…so she was dressed appropriately i guess
Her face is sooo gorgeous but does she not have the thickest neck you guys have ever seen on a girl?!!!! Her head looks like it’s been shrunk.. like the girl in the Nintendo brain game video.
I really like the photo of her in the pink cheongsam…she’s channeling that old world wavy set quite well in it- it suits her face much better than the ultra long straight hair.

I think she looks good and moreover event appropriate.. she is there for MTV Roadies…. tough look for a tough show.. she wouldnt have looked good if she wore say a certain “Shantanu Nikhil” dress…. on an aside note she would have looked good even if she loosed that wig and had some soft curls….

But, you guys rock, Sharin, what an observation- yes her neck is really thick ( I never noticed that and never would have if you hadn’t pointed that out), she should not have her hair falling one side.
@ME: She does look like Esha Deol, I’ve always thought that, a much better version of Esha Deol. Deepika looks like she is Hema Malini’s real daughter.

She looks absolutely scary in the all-black ensemble…I can understand about being in character but why does she show up in black again and again? She looks much better in the movie stills.
