Cannes 2017 starts tonight and in a few hours we’ll soon see Ms. Padukone on the red carpet. The actor started off the day with press interviews first wearing a printed Johanna Ortiz gown and later changed it into a satin Galvan mini.
She looked great in both but I was drawn to the Galvan look just a wee bit more. Which one was your favorite?

she looks great….but this girls got great skin and somehow i feel makeup arstist who do her make up during her intrenational outings dont know how do her foundation like way daniel bauer or deepa verma do….nothing wrong with her make up here she looks beautiful but her base could be better

Free the nipple ladies. Perky nips or side boob doesn’t bother at all. I loved her both looks. Red one is kinda my style boho and chic.

I love the red dress, however, I think the other one is a bit tacky.
I dunno. She is so magnificently tall, beautifully styled and everything – yet her beauty doesn’t shine the way it should. Maybe the stylist should work on making her a sexy mess rather than this perfectly turned out I-got-this-look-from-a-lookbook person.

i totally agree with Granny Weatherwax.. For some reason she looks way better when she isn’t too well put-together. The messy/tousled hair and smokey eyes she sports in her song appearance in raabta or in cocktail works in her favor.. similar to aishwariya.. both look best in a not-so-put-together grunge or boho look
Yes, I think she should loosen up a bit so that she can really sparkle. A glass of wine maybe? :)
I think it is her personality. She does look beautiful but dosen’t have that inherent spark that can come through even in a drab outfit.
She looks great in both but I’m not really digging that badly done top knot. Looks like my daily house look, she can do much better :-)
She just doesn’t own these looks. She needs a better stylist who can up her personal style. PC’s make up at Baywatch meet was so gorgeous. All I can see here is wide green liner for the first and smokey eyes for the second look.

She looks gorgeous in the red. The hair makes all the difference. She looks nice in the mini, but with some stickies/different hair it could have been a winner too.
How amazing does she look! Loving both her looks. Super appropriate. Beachy waves and a top knot. Loving her body in the red one and the Galvan one is so chic! Love the Galvan one just a tiny bit more. The makeup is great. Love love love.

I do not like the smoky eyed makeup. In fact in the middle picture second row, her makeup makes her look like a victim of domestic abuse who is sadly smiling through it.
MAJOR love! The Galvan mini could have been minier showing off her gams, i feel.
I was thinking the same thing. On the model, the dress looked way shorter. And DP’s quite tall herself. Still loved the look though.

Not impressed by either look. She didn’t need a top New York stylist to get such mediocre dresses! Even the makeup doesn’t look great. Her night look has redeemed her.
Looks good but Aish still wins when it comes to anticipating any Cannes appearances. And I also feel that all of DP’s poses are like Aid. The looking-at-the-back-from-above -the shoulder one.
Oh my gosh Aish hasnt even made an appearance as yet!!! jeez give Deepika a break, Aish is a Miss World and experienced at Cannes, please do not compare.

very average looks for someone who is breathtakingly beautiful. the Galvan look still has that deepika x factor, but the other look – extremely ordinary.

You are joking right? Not sure what pictures you are looking at but the Marchesa gown has been getting rave reviews unanimously.
Hi R, I saw some horribly taken pics on NDTV website..the pics that HHC shared were much better and I am not as annoyed now..:) I am glad people are liking her, however, from myside its a moderate look! I wish she does better for the next one :)

I hate the printed gown, the satin mini is much better. Here’s hoping that she stayed away from bright colours and prints on the red carpet.
She needs a makeup artist like Priyanka’s. Priyanka’s eye makeup at the Baywatch premiere is one of the best beauty looks this year.

The red gown looks like something she might just wear at home. The mini looks much better but needs some appropriate innerwear. I am surprised how PnP missed mentioning that.
Overall looks are just too meh..!!
She is looking Diva and gorgeous in Marchesa gown.. but she can do much better since she is beautiful and gorgeous. The Red frock she wore is perfect for her. she looks beautiful in that red dress and those blue eye liner is amazing. i am loving that. Deepika keep rocking girl. please wear one Sabya sari in one of the events. Expecting more from her.

Well, I may be in minority but neither of these looks are awe worthy. The Johanna Ortiz color is beautiful but the print is making it look meh like to me. Also, the hair is quite boring & extensions too long.
The Galvan dress looks quite chic but Deepkia’s shoulder are too thin to show off.
Looks ok in Galvan but nothing new or fresh about it. But that Oritz gown makes her body look weird especially in the bust area.
