The Pink Ladies

The dominant color among the attendees on day one of Lakme Fashion Week had to be ‘pink’ in various shapes and shades… And while on some it worked and worked well, on others (like Bhagyashree) it had us scrambling for the exit.

On an aside though, does Bhagyashree age at all?

It’s not been eons since we saw Ms. Chopra and as for her outfit, neither do I like the dress nor the shoes. Scratch that. I don’t like the dress on her and that’s because the bust is quite ill-fitting and those shoes just bumped the sexy factor down several notches. If you’ve read this, you know we are die hard ‘Mary Jane‘ fans but hers look less Mary Jane hot and way more ‘Mary Poppins’ matronly! (See, I kept my promise! No mention of the hair! :P )

Oh Rani, Rani, Rani… Where do I even begin? While I love how you are so zealously embracing your new avatar, this one-two punch of yours is leaving me rather tired and defeated at the ring. Not because you’ve been winning every round but coz I have now officially given up. Here’s where I lie face down, referee blow your whistle!

P.S: For a seasoned actress like herself, she should know how unkind camera flashes are. No excuses.

P.P.S: Looking past the all too revealing flash and those shoes, it’s got to be said, the woman looks gooood!

It’s been eons since we last saw Urmila and while it was great to see her front row at LFW, her outfit was a whole different story. The dress I quite like, can’t say the same for those (or in my case, all) loafer-style pumps or her red lips. Nude lipgloss and just a simple pair of maroon/red pumps would have worked much better for her. What say you?

P.S. Let’s not forget how bad the dark roots look either!

Have you been following us on Twitter? Coz then you’d know that’s where we asked Ms. Sherawat for some color, and color is what she gave us!! Love.

The dress is simple but elegant, the accessories minimal but so effective.

Maybe it’s the change from all that black she’s been doing lately, or maybe it’s the cheery but rare yellow on the red carpet… either way, am loving how the canary hue works on her.

Some of the love that I seem to be doling out by the shovel today has also got to do with the fact that she’s such a sport! It had to be said, full disclosure n’ such… :D
