While Geeta picked a dress by Iinara to wear to the engagement, Sagarika went with a sari by Jade. Geeta rounded out her look with jewelry from Jet Gems and Sagarika rounded out hers with some heavy-duty diamond jewelry and a Bottega Veneta clutch.

Was neither a fan of the dress, nor how it was styled. And make-up issues only added to Ms. Basra’s woes. This wasn’t one of her better sightings. Sagarika had our vote in this match-up. That said, wish she had skipped that necklace… It brought down the look a notch and her sari didn’t really need it. The earrings alone would’ve done the job just fine or at the very least, wish she went with a simpler necklace.

As some of you may be aware, actress Geeta Basra and cricketer Harbhajan are finally tying the knot this Thursday. At their pre-wedding festivities, the bride was seen in lehengas by Archana Kochhar and will also wear a design by the latter for the wedding.

Wearing Babita Malkani, Geeta attended the trailer launch of her upcoming movie. I wasn’t a big fan of the fusion-lehenga sari and its blouse to begin with, and the way in which it was styled on Ms. Basra (with the fringe pallu being held in her arm) didn’t really help the cause either. For the unveiling of a magazine issue featuring her on the cover, Geeta picked a Babita Malkani lime-green maxi featuring a keyhole neckline. She looked nice but the bandeau top that she wore to cover up the bust just didn’t work. Modifying the bust to eliminate the keyhole would’ve been a better move.
