Ms. Basu turned entrepreneur announcing the launch of several wellness, fitness and grooming centers across India. For the event, she opted for Zara separates and while waist up she looked great, the skirt worn so high looked a bit odd.

The skirt looks out of place and unflattering. The whole look is badly structured and I would rather Bipasha wear Indian designers than continually churn out the same Zara looks. She needs to lay off on the Zara clothes for a while.
The problem is not the shirt. As P&P pointed out, it’s how ridiculously high she’s wearing the skirt.
Reminds me of us as school girls rolling up our skirts to show off our legs when the Principal wasn’t watching.
If she had worn the skirt at the normal place all us humans wear, she may have actually looked pretty good.
The good news is she changed her hairdo. Yay! The bad news is she’s back to ultra minis. This time lifted up to her chest (almost).
Why are movie stars in India showing up to events in Zara and Forever 21? It might be okay for someone like Alia or Shraddha but Bipasha looks pathetic dressing like a teenybopper in cheap clothes.
She even hiked up the skirt so it would show more leg!
Completely agree. Presence of brands in India hasn’t necessarily translated into style with many of our stars. Plus Bipasha hasn’t evolved a tiny bit in her dressing – even though she often looks good.
Agreed, so pathetic. And sometimes it’s not even about her age, she mostly makes anything look cheap & tacky.
A pencil skirt is in order, not a flouncy, “school-girl uniformy” one such as the one worn above. The rest of the look is quite alright although a pulled back high ponytail or chignon would have been appropriate given the nature of the event in question.
She looks really awkward. And that seems like a really strange choice for the launch of your fitness centers.
