In a big affair at the Falakhnuma Palace, Arpita tied the knot with Ayush Sharma today wearing a red Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla lehenga and a layered kundan necklace that had me drooling.

Red was also the color she picked for her sangeet wearing a Sabyasachi Couture lehenga also with a kundan necklace and statement earrings.

Our best wishes to the newlyweds.

  1. Love it when brides overload themselves with rich colors and blinding jewelry. Arpita looks gorgeous and was a perfect bride. Love her Mehendi outfit especially. My only gripe…wish she had worn a bindi.

  2. Speaking strictly fashion \ aesthetic wise [please no brickbats] I wish the clothing was less busy. I guess I say that because I’m confused where to look with all the extremely heavy [and nice] jewelry and then the busy lehenga in both cases. It’s all too much all at once to take in with the whole look in both cases. Congrats to them!

  3. She looks amazing. I am so glad she hasn’t tried to “fair”en herself. Dark skinned brides- take note!

Also P &P can you please put a picture of Salman and Aamir at the wedding? They looked very handsome in their pagdis :)

  4. Money definitely has not bought style or class in this case too. Yes, kudos to her for not white washing her face & keeping her natural dark skin tone. Congrats to the newly weds.

      • I could tell you why there is style & class lacking but P&P would moderate it. Just check Dia’s wedding festivities, I am sure you would have and that would explain TONS about class.

    • Dia Mirza herself as a person is very understated and that reflects in her style. I think just cause someone’s style sense is more loud, I wouldn’t say classless…it seems rather harsh. You could point out what you didn’t like without making it a personal attack. Anyways, her wedding looks are not my cup of tea either…but I read somewhere she was going for a super royal theme…hence the venue and the way she is styled.
      Congrats to the happy couple!

  6. She’s a beautiful bride and I love her Sangeet outfit! However feel the wedding outfit and the jewelry is way too much! Looks gaudy and too much bling. It takes away from the outfit, and I pictured her with more unique outfits. Best wishes to the happy couple!

  7. She has a forehead that is MADE for the gorgeous huge maang tikas out these days. Would have looked so much better than the tika she ended up wearing, which was half on her head anyway. Chance missed!

Liked her in Sabya so much better- the hair, the makeup, the outfit- everything.
