Sari Style
For the press meet and screening of Baahubali 2, Anushka thankfully ditched those kurta and pants and sported some gorgeous saris.
She looked lovely in both!

Lusting after the blue saree. So pretty
Lovely Devasenaaaa!!!she looked so gorgeous in the movie, i am left speechless!!
She truly looks like royalty.
For the first time in my decidedly adult life, i’m shipping Anushka and Prabhas. You sweet, down-to-earth, and gorgeous people, make my weird dreams come true!
Sweety is looking so sweet in both the sarees. That shade of blue is breath taking
Look at that smile in the second pic , there is something so sweet and nice about her, even on the inside
Spectacularly beautiful woman. Stunning even in the movie as much as she is now.
She literally wiped out the impact of Tamanna from the earlier movie. STunning
She’s looking gorgeous and I love that vibrant pink sari!
one woman who is always a class act….the pearls…gorgeous woman
This women was breathtakingly beautiful in the movie..She carried off her character so well, what a powerful role it was!
And this is how it’s done
Ethereal Devasena!!! She truly looked like royalty in the movie. The only action heroine in India. What a movie! It’s beyond spectacular. Prabhas looked majestic. He is the hottest hunk in India.
So proud. <3
Please tell me she’s not joining the long-sleeved blouse bandwagon.
Let’s see those arms ladies!
Maharani Devasena! Oh my how gorgeous, regal, graceful and heroic is she in the movie. This movie is a wonder, I am left speechless. I can’t look anything beyond the handsome Prabhas. He is the MAN. So manly yet so innocent.
She’s a truly beautiful woman. At so many points during the film, this decidedly straight woman got awestruck by the sheer grace and presence Anushka has. And the movie is superb fun – unapologetically, proudly Indian in essence, melodrama done just right. Like watching Amar Chitra Katha in motion. Very much like Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon, seemingly unique a single place, but the story is so universal that people of all cultures will be engrossed. I’m so proud our films can really tell stories so well sometimes.
Oh yes, and Amrapali has made some [or all, not certain] of the jewelry that Anushka wears in the film. I went looking, and some of the pieces are still on sale at their webstore, if anyone is interested.
She gives serious Queen vibes off-screen too. Wish she’d wear more nice sarees like this, instead of the tent-like anarkalis (which is nice too), but I prefer these looks more.
fyi I saw Shravan Studio (Designer Shravan Kummar) on Twitter tagging both these looks as their creations. In case you’d like to update the post. What a simple, stunning woman!
