The Troika
Spotted the trio in their Indian clothes recently at Amara… While Shweta’s was tacky and Mandira’s was dowdy, it was Juhi who came out on top for us!

Aaaahhhh, I’ve never seen pink+orange/red go so well together as they always do in Indian clothes.
And I actually like Mandira here (‘xcept for her matchy-matchy bag). Is something wrong with me?
nope chevalier nothing is wrong wit u… i also like mandira’s dress minus the handbag!
i think Juhi looks the best out of the 3.. she looks beautiful in indian outfits..
Lets not even compare Juhi with the other two…Juhi is epitome of poise and grace.
I would totally wear what Juhi is wearing.. hate the bling factor on Mandira.. and yes its pretty dull..
I think SS needs a better fit.
Mandira seems to be totally into the salwar with sherwani type kameez that can go without a chunni. That holds true for every single salwar-kameez that I’ve seen her in – on this site, that is.
I like Juhi’s outfit but WHAT is with that chudidar? Why is the part above the chudi’s hanging loose all Jodhpur-like??!!!
Juhi is my idol! Shes dresses figure and age appropriate, not to mention she is sooo lovely!!!
What are the Indian clothing trends now? Seems like churidar is really in but what else – colors, length, style, etc..?
PnP : please do a special on Indian clothing trends!!!! That would be a wonderful article and greatly appreciated espc. by moi!
all of them are bleh. mandira’s looks like something out of those ‘design books’ at the local tailor’s… juhi’s is unexceptional, she could have been wearing it 10 years ago… the less said about shweta’s the better.
if Mandira’s outfit had a different colour combination, not grey and cream, it would have Sooo much better. Now it looks dowdy. Juhi looks fab in Indian outfits, very poised and graceful. Sweta should not had that hideous neckline. .
Juhi looks always graceful
Juhi, did you retrieve this outfit from your heyday wardrobe? That looks like the in thing from the early nineties….Awful! Mandira, that gaping thing in front really reminds me of the patterns the local tailor specializes in..Shweta, actually the outfit is kinda nice, the embroidery and such…the tissue inside pales it all, perhaps the top should not have had the inside stuff, but higher neckline. Pity it was not carried off well.
Well I prefer Mandira’s. Juhi’s is rather common. I wouldnt wear Mandira’s and I would wear Juhi’s but that is more because its rather common and mummy type which i totally am!
dont know why but shewta always reminds me of a “dying to be wannabe film star”. no offense but very tartlet types.
mandira looks quite nice types
Juhi wins this round for sure.
Its something I would wear.
I totally love Juhi’s salwar….simple and elegant. I would wear it.
Sometimes it is not so much the ability to wear the outfit, but the way to carry it off…these three ladies are wearing from boring to lackluster outfits…neither one is carrying it off well…..How can you tell a stand-out from the ho-hum? It is not a valentino, it is not a dior, it may not be a manish m, or a rohit b…that ultimately guarantees you out of the whattheheys ….it is the sheer attitude of the wearer…
Juhi is always so simple, Mandira seems to like those collars, and I would have worn Shweta’s with a higher neckline and minus the cream material.
juhi’s is the best, but ya would much appreciate a post on the latest trends and styles in indian fashion. And ofcourse where we can buy them. Please guys I have been hounding you for shopping tips in India for sometime now, please respond:)
Juhi looks dated, its like her body and her face have aged in the intervening years but her dress sense is stuck in her bollywood heyday.
How do people manage to make ethnic wear look over the top and tacky i can see now……….. Juhi though looks sweet
Why is it that very few celebs wear ethnic suits? And whenthey do, most of them mess it up?
