Sticking (sort of) to the theme of the party (which was ‘Aqua’), Akshay and Twinkle both wore blue. I am too distracted by the orange pumps to even comment about the Missoni dress. Do I spot YSL Trib Twos? Oooh!

Terrible way to add “a pop of color”. I wish she had worn black, blue or gray shoes with an orange clutch. That would’ve looked a whole lot better!

Agree ! pop of color should be done tastefully and not just for the heck of it…color coordination is a must or else it would fall under the category of “trying too hard”
If HHC can get past the distraction of YSL i am curious what ur take would be on twinkle’s look in its entirety :)
Not working. The Missoni pattern is already a distracting enough one. Pairing the orange would have worked better with a plain blue dress. :)

When Amir Khan comes in a suit and you are dressed in jeans mean you are too under dressed. They both look cute but are not dressed appropriate for this event.
Er, Aamir was at the Paa premiere. This is the Bombay Times Anniversary…Twinkle wore black pants with a white top to the Paa Premiere.

I heart the YSL Trib twos-I think they are iconic but badly worn even pumps this great can fall flat.I wish she had worn them with a solid coloured dress so the attention was on those fab orange pumps! or even better given them to me :)
I guess Twinkles used to walking in these 5? inch stiletto pumps but I wish they would make them a little shorter(say 3.5″ inches) not that I can afford them with the astronimical price tag.

I think she is not comfy in those shoes, you can tell by the way she is standing, resting posture. I have seen this in all her recent heels she slouching as trying to find a comfortable position. Lady you do not need to wear 5″s go for 2 or 3 they are just as nice.
i will never get this how just by one picture we tend to conclude the general ‘mood’ ‘attitude’ ‘comfort level’ of the celebrity. When we are at a party how many bad pics are there to our credit. Ever tried analyzing them!

twinkle’s look does not work. I do not like the missoni dress or the orange YSL shoes. The orange shoes with a black dress would have worked better. Not a fan of elevator shoes
Maybe the invite said semi-casual and blue ocean theme, if that is the case akshay and tina rocks…take those orange shoes and give them to charity! ;)

The pieces seperately are great (shoes are scrumptious) but together for me it just doesn’t flow.
I would give twinkle the benefit of the doubt here. Maybe the shoes didn’t photograph too well otherwise I don’t see such a glaring faux pas coming from her. I remember pairing my fuschia dress with a red clutch once and in photographs it came out looking orange and very, very tacky. Knowing that is twinkle and not some other star wife, I could very well imagine her in the same situation.

‘Pop’ gone wrong here but twinkle can carry anything and still fair well!
As usual she looks great, but should have paired the pumps with a plain dress. Somehow most Missoni dresses do not work on the Indian gals. I completely agree with the folks on heel size-its a struggle to find good, classy shoes with a 3 inch heel. The minimum is 4 inches :(

The theme was aqua, so the orange pumps fit for me because to me they mean beautiful gold fish or any other bright orange sea creature in aqua…. I think its a difficult thing to get but I think thats what she went for, you have to put some thought into the theme, aqua doesnt mean cover yourself in blue/black/grey shades from head to toe.
