At The National Awards

Akshay received his National Award on Wednesday in Delhi and giving him company were Twinkle wearing a Raw Mango sari and son Aarav in an Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla kurta suit.

Akshay looked dapper in his black bandhgala suit and we loved how he coordinated with Twinkle by way of his pink pocket square. I also have to add that considering Ms. Khanna is such an Abu – Sandeep fan, I was surprised by A) her not picking them and B) opting for a sari.

They all looked great!

  2. They all look great. Love Twinkle Khanna’s saree and Akshay Kumar looks very dashing. I love that he matched his pocket square to her saree, but I wish the pocket square was more neatly tucked in.

  3. PnP, you should not have cut out Mr. K. Viswanath. I know he is not a fashion icon etc,he made many many memorable and wonderful movies, and he is the man behind many successful actors that we see today. Lots of respect for this humble person.

    • Isn’t it rather harsh, Rose, to point out something in that manner? I doubt if Mr Vishwanath cares whether his picture appears or not in a fashion blog. It isn’t the front page of the Hindu. I also doubt P&P have an agenda and so they get their rocks off cropping pictures or something. That’s just weird.

Anyway, Twinkle looks like the elegant lady she is. I like how she’s worn each element of her look in such a way that it ties everything together, with not one thing looking overdone. Tho I wish she spared some time to tuck in Akshay’s pocket square!

  5. Loving every bit of the family, styling, notes by PnP and the comments too :) Just on a small note within the tags, their son’s name is Aarav Bhatia, he goes by the actual family sirname!

    • Like Trisha’s blouse better, the pink on the blouse co-ordinates with the saree.
Twinkle’s blouse also needs some pink element to match with the saree better.

The best thing about her style is that it is so relatable and practical . There’s no drama involved.
