Ms. Rai made an appearance after long time in Hyderabad where she launched a new series of Longines watches. We get that a formal suit was the way to go at this event, but don’t you think the outfit was a little lackluster. The pants seemed a tad bit too short and although her shoes weren’t bad at all, with the right length of pants, this look would have been so much better.

i think the pants are the perfect length! thats exactly the length pant suits are meant to be (they are supposed to brush the bottom of your ankles when wearing heels, longer for flats). the only gripe i have is the fit of her pants, could have been better.
yea i think the outfit is wayyyyy too formal and something is very very off about her face. cant put my finger on it
it’s the lighting and the extra weight I think…but mostly the lighting
now, I’m not saying she’s fat or anything, but I DO think that Ash looks better when she’s on the thinner side

i like it – simple and classy. If i had to change something, i would probably not opt for such a high waisted trouser … there is hardly anyone who can carry it off well. but all in all a good appearence
I know dres pants are supposed to fit at the widest wart of your leg/hip, adn then fall straight from there…but this fit seems to be a wee bit unflattering on Ash.
Agreed about the pants, I DO think that women who wear suits everywhere are classy, and I love Ash for doing it, but I wish she would at least experiment with her suits a little bit.
Good to see her back, after the illness. She looks good, if not predictable, neck-up. But I cannot understand her choice (more than once) of the most unflattering trousers.

hahaha, loved what sandra said – so if the pants were longer she would have looked bful, if the pants are shorter she looks ugly….hahahaha u guys are a hoot P&P!!!!!!!!!!!!! leave ash alone – she looks much much better at 35 than some of us looked at 20, and that’s something to laugh about you’all!
They didnt say that the lenght of the pants would transform her look completely, they just said it could’ve been “better”..
She looks fine for someone who was ill. She should have gone for a different color camisole under the suit for a pop of color. The pants are the right length – I hate to see pants that are too long – but could be a better fit.

Something about her face just looks weird these days. She needs to try using less foundation and maybe color her hair darker.
She looks very tired with under eyebags or dark circles whatever they may be. I don’t know why some bollywood actors put such a heavy toll on themselves by doing three four movies at a time plus all the different events they have to attend oooftaa!! Hope she completely recovers soon. best wishes.
She has such a beautiful face, I wish she would dress up a bit more. Suits are classy no doubt, but this isn’t doing anything for me. The pants make her look huge and the all black look is quite boring. she should opt for different colored suits.
I can imagine her in a nicely fitted gray suit with hair tied up..that would be fierce.
she has worn different coloured suits.. well navy blue blazer top not the bottom half and an all grey suit although she had her hair down for it.

She looks good – like always! I think her face bloats (or she gains weight in her face) everytime she gets sick. Check out pictures right before her big concert with the Bachchans and Madhuri started. Her face looked a little plump.

There is an issue with the pants that are available in India and irrespective of the global exposure Ms Rai has, apparantly that India pants fashion doesn’t go away. The general pants that are available in USA stores such as Limited ( with Drew cut, Cassidy etc) are way more nicer than the style Ms Rai is having in this picture. Horrible design of the pants and horrible fit too. This should have been sleeker from the bottom

poor suit,unflattering on the leg and thigh,hair is too boufy and same old….time for a change(or maybe a stylist)
If the occasion calls for a formal attire, then why a black pant suit? This lady will look lovely in Chanel pastel skirt suit.. I wonder why her stylist never considered that :(
The pants are fine – P&P, there are other things to dislike about the outfit but highlighting the length of the pants is not one of them, IMO! I think a multi-coloured Pucci scarf for example would have been a great way to accessorise.

Only with Ash posts will you see closeups where you can’t see her outfit at all and it’s just her face lol! It’s odd but understandable how we always want a closer look at her face.
The pants are def the right length, one merely has to look at her right leg to see that. Normally I think she looks classy and elegant in her suits but this suit just seems.. cheap (the suit itself looks cheap not HER)… even though I’m sure it’s more than anything I could ever afford! It just doesn’t fit her properly. Ash always, always seems to have a problem with fit. Wonder why that is because she seems like a normal size to me. She has gained more curves than before.. she has more of a butt now than she ever had before I can tell you that lol. Um.. colour would be nice… she is looking great after her illness… you can tell she was sick imo.

she has been photographed showcasing different watches, MEANING she introduces one watch, pics are taken, then she changes the watches and click click again, then a third one and so forth. if u see her close ups above the watches are different in both of them

Finally an Ash post. Things were getting a bit dull. So here come the haters and bashers to spice things up! IMO, I think she looks pretty and the suit looks chic, however, I liked her better 2 years ago with her thinner face. But age WILL catch on! I think the watch looks a bit fugly. I used to own a swatch one when I was in school which kinda looked the same. This one is too chunky for Ash. However, I think some of Ash’s most beautiful pictures are from the Longines campaign ads.
The fit of the pants make Ash look wider on the hips. Length looks okay to me. I read in a magazine once that for night wear length of pants can be above ankle for day wear it has to be ankle length.

I don’t know… If I had to showcase some watches, I’d have gone for a shorter sleeve, or none. A nice shift dress, some heels, and a jacket over it all to take off during the launch, maybe….
