In Sabyasachi

Wearing a black Sabyasachi sari, Aishwarya attended the ‘Sachin: A Billions Dreams’ premiere. While I don’t have an issue with the sari or the lip color choice, considering her hair has been the same the past few outings (including Cannes), would’ve loved to see a bindi here. It would’ve made a world of difference and added that much needed extra.

  1. I don’t have issues with the saree or hair either; but there’s a lot of make-up on that gorgeous face, or too much bronzer I think.

  2. Heart the makeup and sari, and the hair goes perfectly well with this look. I agree with one of the above posters who said a bindi would have made it tacky. I just imagined this with a red or black bindi and was like eww.

Great going Ash, first a killer Cannes and now this. Please please don’t disappoint by wearing blingy AJSK.

  3. Doesn’t look like Sabya’s creation! Looks more like MM’s. Bindi would not have suited this saree. Aish being Aish, looks gorgeous as usual!

  4. This Sari does not need a Bindi.
An updo maybe but even the hair is just fine.
She doesn’t need to make a change just because we are bored

    • Absolutely not. There are too many differences to even make a comparison. There was an aura around Maharani Gayatri Devi which Aishwarya will never be able to match. Considering this is a fashion blog…does Aishwarya even own a chiffon saree?

  5. She always does these clean glam looks so well. Make-up should have been toned down and a berry lip would just be perfect. She looks gorgeous even with these issues.

  6. She looks fantastic and no, I don’t agree with you on the bindi. Wearing a bindi with this sari is like wearing a kanjeewaram without a bindi.

  7. Side -swept hair and this would be a 10! I think the make-up is fine, flash/lighting (seen on Sachin’s face too) is the reason face looks too bright against the dark sari.

  8. I don’t get how a bindi would make this tacky. The saree and blouse combined with the makeup is tacky. The orangey red lip with that shiny blingy saree shows some lack of taste. I get that all manner of reds have been her thing for a while now, and for the most part it works, but she needs to give it a rest already. Throwing a red lip at everything doesn’t make it better.

    • If only Aishwarya would dress like Anushka Sharma. I always wish she would dress like Anushka. That’s where Angelina Jolie scores over Aishwraya… dressing, beauty wise both of them are equally popular.

  10. HHC, you are faulting her for the sake of finding faults… nothing wrong with the hair, absent bindi…she looks glamorous and that is what this saree calls for!! One word…stunning! Wish she did this in Cannes for one of her looks, she would have knocked it out of the ballpark!

  11. The saree is nothing great, but she looks lovely. I feel her make up is a bit too harsh, she doesn’t need all that much – but she looks undeniably beautiful.

  12. Oh my she is so beautiful and the makeup looks lovely, I love how she is wearing the saree. I love how she wrapped that saree (the front covering both breasts) – sorry I am not from India but it always looks so much more better. About the bindi, I think she fared better without it (minor gripe). But if I want to fault Aish I would have loved to see her wear black nail polish and cut her hair boycut and wear sky high black rock boots with this outfit. Just putting in my nonsensical two cents like some of the posters above me :-)

  13. She looks beautiful, elegant and most importantly comfortable. There’s nothing to add or subtract here. Sometimes, you guys nitpick just for the sake of it. Stop making being ‘fashionable’ sound so tedious.

  14. You are bored of her hair so you want her to wear a bindi?? Sometimes I wonder how you come up with such sentences!
    Aishwarya looks lovely.
