Aishwarya attended the Youth Icon awards wearing the same Gauri and Nainika dress seen first on her last year at a Lux promotional event. While she looked smokin’ at the Lux event, this time the hair and makeup weren’t impressive.

I agree. Her hair looked better-fuller-at the Lux event. I don’t like the flat straggly hair.
The dress is nice – simple and elegant.
I have to disagree with you guys…I think both her hair and makeup (which is best when kept minimal like here) is looking great! She looks awesome, and the best part is she looks effortless!

I agree. Her look is better in Lux partly due to her hair. Her look at Youth…is strictly okay. Her hair is flat.
BUT this is not the same dress. The cleavage cut is very different. In Lux the cut is more roundabout “U” and this current one its more of a deep ‘V.” And the fall of her dress has a dark/smoke gray pleat to it. Or is it just my eyes?

well…SHE didn’t get the fashion award right? It would have made a BIT more sense than Deepika…but…she looks good. She always good, it’s in her genetics. The dress is meh and hair and makeup are MEH (and I’m GLAD that she’s aging gracefully!) but …yawn.
I don’t think she’s ageing gracefully at all.. Her neck is extremely wrinkly, and there is no glow on her face.
Ash looked more fresh and glowing last year. She looks tired . I am not sure if it has got to do with the lighting.Nevertheless the woman always looks great.

Really? I completely disagree I love her look at the Youth Icon awards! I think her hair and makeup are so much better at the YI awards I hated the hair at the Lux event.
I am waiting for the day Aishwarya gets a complete makeover : not just in terms of fashion, but her career as well. I wish she would be a bit louder and more outspoken and just more OUT THERE. And I wish she would take the initiative to dress up and have fun with it. She could look absolutely breathtaking at every single event, yet she manages to come out looking just ‘nice’. She shouldn’t be wearing the same outfit she wore to an event a YEAR ago! She should do more endorsements, a couple more movies, be seen out a bit more. I wonder if all this is just her not really wanting to? I don’t know, she just needs a big push!
I agree! she’s got what it takes to look breathtaking…however she does not try hard to impress with her looks now a days…maybe abhi darling makes her feel like she looks best without ‘dressing up’…it happens.. happened to me after I got married lol.. I feel like i`ll look best no matter what… but after hearing remarks like ‘what happened to u…u look tired… bla bla’ I no longer let my dear’s praises go to my head!
shes looking vry old n tired aswell…she shud wear natural makeup for a younger n brighter look…n ofcourse tht hairstyle shud be changed aswell.

I think she looks absolutely stunning! the lighting is probably cause for some of the harsh glare on her gorgeous face. the makeup and hair look fine to me. beauty in herself<3
I also think she actually looks better this year than last. Yes, she does look a little older and not as squeaky-clean fresh, but it suits her, keeps it interesting. Gorgeous dress, too!

I disagree too. She looks very fab at the Youth Icon awards and too pasty/white at Lux (plus that hair color at Lux is not my fave either)!
