Wearing Sabyasachi, Aishwarya unveiled her upcoming movie’s poster. Amrapali jewelry and gold-tone Intoto pumps were her accessories of choice. Ott as the suit might seem for a poster launch, the look itself can’t be faulted; she sure wears it well. Ms. Bachchan looked great!
Hopefully rest of her appearances on the promo tour that’s to come will be just as on point!

“Ott as the suit might seem for a poster launch..” Seems like this line can be used ALOT when featuring a certain favorite actress of yours but funny how that never happens.
Aishwarya looks amazing AND appropriate, and still quite toned down compared to Kapoor who probably would have showed up with a maang teeka, full gharara, and the works.

The suit is plain nasty. From the colour to the fitting and there’s nothing designer about this. Something about it reminds me of Daler Mehndi and that’s not a good thing!
I second that !! Its illfitting very badic combination ,apt for wedding. Wonder reallt the decked up look for poster launch ! Daler Mehandi surely has inspiration if he thinks to performs again :p .

Are those pointy-toed pumps back in fashion now? I think this is my 3rd HHC sighting..the first 2 were white but I cannot remember who wore them.
She looks gorgeous…but gosh that kurta color leaves me feeling a bit jaundiced.
Ive not been a fan of her acting or dressing skills most of the time. But this look: Faultless! She looks effortless classy and regal.
I completely hate this particular styling on Aishwarya. It’s just so much volume. Same effect as the AJSK tents. Heavy kurta heavy shoes heavy hair heavy makeup heavy jewellery. It’s totally drowns her and very little of her extraordinary natural beauty is left to see. How I wish to see her in simpler fabrics less caked makeup and just relaxed looks where her beauty can shine.
I love the salwar…but she’s killed it with a ott dupatta. It’s really too bright and has a bridal vibe. Plus dragging the dupatta like that makes me cringe, looks handwoven. Close-up pics show some major make-up on that gorgeous face, which she doesn’t need.

I feel like a troll criticising this look, given how beautiful Aishwarya Rai looks in everything. However, the kurta is really ill-fitted and the dupatta is so gaudy!

The outfit is not perfect – it has too much fabric all over. I wish the dupatta was shorter, the kurta was better fitted – but inspite of these flaws its a charming look. The rich dupatta (though mismatched) makes the look very striking. And loving her hair and make up here. Hope she keeps up with this on the rest of her promo tour.

Oh boy, now if she has worn a simple ivory simple dupatta with that suit, it would have been a different story. But as it is now, it hurts my eyes. I am not sure where to focus.

The kurta needs to be tucked and shaped…this is my style but that is because i am always hiding flab and my curves… for Aish she can flaunt all she wants. I think a fitted top anarkali and that dupatta would have been killer.
