We know AB Sr. loves his velvet jackets. Seems like ‘Pa’ has rubbed off on the daughter-in-law too! ;)

  1. I love the big B but the two tone hair and beard combo coupled with the velvet jacket and the too young jeans have got to go…Ash looks fine – I am getting tired of saying she is beautiful – because lets face it she is, but just wish she would mix it up a little.

    I KNOW!
It’s so dissapointing, he usually looks really awesome in sharp suits paired with funky ties and glasses, but this velvet thing screams “trying too hard”
    :(

  3. I am assuming AB gets bored wearing a suit in every event. Maybe he wants to revive the youth in him through what he wears as well, after all what you wear is a part of self expression. At his age, he manages to feature even in a fashion blog.
I usually don’t like what Ash wears, but I like her denim (trouser).

  4. i like her hair blowout and make up.. she is not looking cheap and tacky and underfed at least like many other bw stars.. but she shud try to tone up a bit.. the woman’s physique fluctuates so much! its kinda funny that she looks so different between different times/films/photoshoots she is doing..

but i guess it keeps it interesting..

  5. Dear ARti, Eclat and other kindred spirits who think the Big B is trying to come across as youthful,
I completely agree with you. I think there is nothing classier than the “boring” business suit for men and he should stick to that. The black jacket, trousers, white shirt and simple tie are timeless and suit men of all ages. ANd I wish he’s let his hair go grey- I find it softens the wrinkles, as opposed to coloured hair which appear stiff, and don;t do the wizened visage any good. He should learn a lesson from Mr. Pran (the yesteryear villian) and Ms. Waheeda Rehman…

  6. ORANGE STREAKED HAIR, TORN JEANS, FALSHY GADGETS, SEVERAL FACE LIFTS DOES NOTHING FOR A MAN OF HIS CALIBRE. Take a break Mr. Bachchan and dress your age – it will make you look classier.

  7. Wow people are such haters. Honestly he has already commented on his blog about people like you who feel like they need to oppress older people and stop them from wearing what they like but I shall comment anyway. Amitabh is crazy…as in he’s the most ballin.. off the hook…wicked person of his age and in comparison to younger people that I know. He wears things like colourful hoodies and I happen to think that he can pull it off because it always flatters his body. When people like that Poonam Aunty/(Dhillon is her last name maybe?) wears clothes that look like they belong on a teenager – they look bad because they’re not flattering her figure. I think that people should be able to dress at whatever “age” they want as long as they look good in it and its flattering. Amitabh always looks good. Love him :)

  8. Oh and as for people commenting on his “class”….his manner and attitude makes him the classiest person I know. N it shows through… even if he walked around in polka dot pajamas he’ll rock.

  9. I agree with Sharin, he is so classy and so articulate.. he just exudes intelligence with his speech and the way he walks, talks and conducts himself..

i mean rly so what if he wears clothes that the general populace (his age) don’t wear.. well they ain’t Amitabh Bachchan, he is allowed to wear what he wants..

he is at a stage where all these shallow superficial society norms mean nothing to him
    GG Big B.
you keep doing what you feel like..
