The premiere of ‘Spring Fever’ saw Aishwarya in an Elie Saab Spring 2009 gown while Abhishek wore a black suit with a striped tie.
They may have been too color coordinated on day one but this appearance more than makes up for it. The color, the hair looks fabulous on Ms. Rai. We love. You?

Surely her stylists know of colours beyond shades of white/grey? Check out the rich teal gown that Shu Qi wore at the opening ceremony – now *that’s* a beautiful gown and one that Aish would totally smoulder in – if only her stylists had the imagination to venture beyond black and white.

Not everyone can carry off the hair pulled back look best unless u have very defined features … and who else than aishwarya to portray this best…. my small gripe would be her face is a little round coz of the weight gain i guess… but that can be easily ignored… about the gown ..i would say smart choice by stylists as the drape flatters her figure type well …. and abhi looks dapper too..

The dress is XCelent I must say! and it looks great on her. Certainly a first in all these years. Guess she finally hired a better sylist.
The hair and makeup is her old style (during her early much younger days). Guess she was trying to prove a point here. Unfortunately, it works against her. We can now exactly see HOW MUCH she has aged. Her smile has changed dramatically (and so has the upper lip). Abhi looks dapper for once.
Anyways, I’ll try to keep it civil, and fashion oriented. So, The gown is A+, Shoes A+, Arm Candy A+ ;) Not much to criticize here today.
I especially think she got the foundation right this trip!

THIS I love! I have noticed that Aish looks best in gowns/dresses that flowy, light, and simple… too much fluff and intricate designed dresses overwhelm her, like that last white gown she had on the first day.

ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS! Aish wears the dress 100 times better than the model. I agree with others who’ve said that just when you think Aish can’t look any better, she wears this and looks WHOA GORGEOUS! One tiny complaint is her hair color, I’m not liking the red streaks either. Abhishek looks awesome too!!

Wow! Now this is what I call *purrfect*. Ash looks heavenly and her makeup is flawless. I also love the fact that she kept jwellery to a minimum to let the chic dress do the talking. No fussy necklace nor giant chandelier earrings. Just simple studs in her ears. This look is a winner.

she attended a french talk show afterwards where she had the same hair and make-up but had changed into an electric blue dress. her make up looked too heavy with the lights but it looks fine on the photos you posted

Can I just say how scrumptious Abhishek looks here???? Love love love it. Aishwarya looks beautiful. Period. The dress looks nice, her hair not so amazing, the shoes are okay. But she still manages to look beautiful, absolutely radiant. I suppose she isn’t called the ‘most beautiful woman’ for no reason.
The reason so many of us give her a tough time is because of that title and so we expect more from her than any other actress/model.

Hm. Nothing I would wear, but the dress is stunning on her. She looks like she’s slimmed down a bit as well…I think the red streaks in her hair are nice! You really only see them in the light, so it’s a nice touch. And Abhishek looks nice and sharp…a perfect accessory…. tee heehee! ;-)

She has NAILED it with this dress. I love the dress and the muted colour looks great on her. Hair–check, makeup–check, shoes and bag–check. The only thing I would have wanted her to wear–and sorry if I sound totally nitpicky here—is some smoking solitaires in her ears and one on her finger. We are Indians after all and love our solitaires—I wish she had replaced (what looks like) pearl studs with some 3-carat emerald cuts.
Wow! I suddenly have new found respect for the couple. If they CAN look so good, why do they choose to look so bad most times??
I agree with Premrogue….her stylists surely need to go beyond these watchamacallit colors….although I admit she looks beautiful (and I LOVE ALL Elie Saab gowns) she’s wearing a similar color she wore last year (i think) with Abhishek. if you don’t believe me then you can check the archives….why repeat the colors especially at the same event?
Wow!!!! Aishwarya looks stunning-the best I have seen her look .EVER! The color suits her, right from her make up to the stunning silver sandals-shes faboulous! much much better than day 1.and her husband looks cute too.

Ash and Abhi both look great. I love her hair and make up and thankfully she is not in the stand at hand to the waist pose. Thumps up to Abhi’s beautiful suit, love the waist coat. But I am must say that this is not Ash’s real skin color, I saw her in the lobby of the taj hotel in Mumbai in Feb 2006 and she is beautiful but her skin color at least 3 shades darker than the color in this photo.
@ DiptiN .. yeah, the flash etc. usually make skin look darker..especially during the day. Happens to me all the time.

Yes, she is supposed to be attending as a guest and not as a Loreal rep. We still have many a days to go till the end of the festival.
