In Manish Malhotra
Abhishek, Aishwarya and Aaradhya attended Akash and Shloka’s engagement wearing Manish Malhotra and while father and daughter looked nice, the gold sari with all that makeup made Aishwarya’s look feel a bit garish. Maybe it looked glamorous in person. Not quite so under all that camera flashes.

The sari doesn’t look garish in her Instagram post.
_Aishwariya looks pretty but something has changed about her face. Perhaps, it’s the haircut.
Normally, she wears white to weddings so the gold colour makes for a nice change.
Also, i see that the orange lip colour has made a comeback. She is like Lydia’s character from Once upon a time – both love ‘scarlet sunrise’ when it comes to lipsticks.
Actually I’m more stuck at the length of Abhisheks kurta.. is it too short? Or it’s not a good fit.. others look fine.
Fabulous sari. Looks better indoors though. Aishwarya looks smashing.
She doesn’t look garish at all. In fact I think she looks really glamorous in that saree, the hairdo and the makeup. Abhishek looks great too and Aaradhya looks really pretty. All in all a big thumbs up from me!
Aishwarya rai looking super gorgeous in this sari , what i love about her is that she is not like those who always try to look hot by showing their stomatch i evry n , she always dress up with dignity ????
It definitely is very garish and super tacky! Just so much bling!
I don’t even know where to start. It is so unfair that one of the world’s most beautiful woman feels the need to wear so much bling. Where are those amazing Sabya sarees that she used to wear and stop the world in its track.
Garish its is definitely not ! Make – up seems normal for a party/reception.
At least she changed up the hair . That is a start towards letting go of her predictable apprearnces
It’s a lot of bling but she looks pretty; Aaradhya looks adorable too and Abhishek looks pretty dapper.
They cut a nice family picture. Aradhya looks super cute.
Bling, bling everywhere..y do mums take there little ones to such parties??
Why wouldn’t the little one attend? In a regular family, children are always a part of the festivities. Why should it be any different for a rich family?
And why can’t we take kids to weddings; that’s the best part of the Indian culture, that, our kids tag along to almost every desi function. Honestly, if my children are not part of a wedding invitation I don’t attend…and I’ve done that more than once.
What nonsense! She looked so good! Easily one of the best dressed at the engagement!
Soooo blingy but she blended in with the bling of everyone else there!
Too much going on with the outfit and the make up
She looks good. Cute family.
It has garish written… embroidered all over it….not tasteful at all….reminds me of those cheap Chandni Chowk saree!
When will these hairbands come off Aaradhya’s head!
Why does she almost never smile showing her teeth anymore? This closed smile makes her look unnatural and haughty, and a lot less youthful.
When will she ever stop clutching her hand?
Abishek’s kurta seems too short. ARB looks good and the bling blends in with rest of the bling at the party.
I wonder how she managed to skip wearing AJSK this time? They seem to be unofficial mandatory designer for the event ( family).
Okay, this has to stop. ‘Coutouriers’ like AJSK, Manish, Sabyasachi, etc really need to come to their senses. One can’t see any craftmanship/ design/ drape/ silhouette anymore. Its all just bling overload, one after the other. It’s become increasingly difficult to differentiate between any of the designers outfits now. A Falguni Shane looks like an AJSK, an AJSK looks like a Tahiliani, an MM looks like a Sabya, it’s all just one big blingy sparkly mess.
And with the Ambani wedding carnival, we’ve already regressed to the 90s bling and tackiness. Can someone shake up all these ‘designers’ already??

I quite like this. But there are too many colours in the family pic….some coordination would have been good!
