In Sabyasachi
Vidya might only favor Sabyasachi when it comes to her saris but, she at least gives us variety (with the kind of saris she chooses). Love this hot pink one on her!
P.S: We can only hope Ms. Balan’s pallu didn’t trail the floor all night. :p

so glad to see her back =)
Pretty !
the saree is nice … but will she ever change up her style, brand or pose …hmmm
Oh well………she is the saree queen…..u can hardly fault her saree appearances
She looks lovely
i love the color on her, it’s doing her all kinds of good…
Ghastly!!
gorgeous saree- an unusually bright colour for Sabyasachi. Vidya looks great.
love the pink…she looks lovely.
Oh god! She again. Sorry she always looks like a bai. Not that i am trying to disgrace them but they seem to wear nicers ones than her. :P
I agree! The pose, the hair, the make up!! I don’t even like an otherwise pretty sari on her! Big yikes!15
Totally agree with you. She can make a b-ful Sari look bad.
She looks like an old maid…. In her previous appearances, eventhough they used to be traditional, her makeup was fresh and she was pretty… this one if a major fail
Pretty sari. Fantastic colour.
But does she ever wear anything else?!
She is the queen of traditional Indian look and she carries this one very well. Love the hot pink on her.
Just realised I was missing Vidya. She looks lovely here. And its great to see a trad sari after posts of the usual designer stuff.
Also three cheers for the bais of India who are often hard working and immaculately dressed in spite of the work they do-someone needs to do a fashion feature on them. In short they are way better than the wannabe fashionistas in their wtheyys and the commenters (see above) who come up with the boring handloom sari=bai rubbish.
BTW my bai is a star dresse, to be compared to her is an honour!
Well said, AM. I am happy to see people taking a public stance against those who belittle others in the name of being fashion conscious. Not liking a saree is one thing, but comparing an outfit or color we do not like to something that we may see on our domestic helpers wearing shows lack of education and wisdom.
Thanks Peripheral Observer. These kind of classist comments keep coming up all the time on this blog. Its very disheartening to say the least.
I was tempted to ask PnP to ban such comments but this is the Internet. People should feel free to say anything. But yeah each time it comes up I feel free to point out that the comment is uncivilised.
completely agree with u guys on this one! that story idea was interesting..:)
Lovely. Wish the pallu were shorter.
