In Mandira Wirk

In most of her appearances, Vidya’s hair lets her down even though the outfit may be good. No such failure here. At the BMW launch, she sported an updo that worked great with the neckline of her red Mandira Wirk gown. What I love more is that there is neither red lips nor black bangles to border on a Match-wee-too-Much.

Well done, Ms. Malwade.

Summertime: A ‘Not Quite’ Edition

Two separate Film Festivals saw these two ladies make an appearance in pastel, summery and casual Indian ensembles… However, it’s not the best we’ve seen them do.

Between the two ladies, I have to go with Tanisha because she just seems to have the better outfit. As far as accessories go, am sure she could use some help though. A clutch instead of that awkward teeny bag and perhaps less chunkier sandals and we’d have had a whole different story on our hands.

(More pics inside.)

Sari Style

It’s a sari we’ve seen Mahima wear before. Didn’t like it then, don’t like it now.

And even though Vidya couldn’t resist the drape, we sure are happy to see something other than a diaphanous chiffon on these pages.

As for Pallavi, her look reminds me just a tad bit of Juhi. Know what I mean?

Who’s sari style gets your vote? It’s okay to pick none. ;)
