Changing It Up?

Giving the Sabyasachi saris a break was Vidya but she didn’t veer too far off the course by going for an anarkali instead. Minus the odd blue patchwork on the shoulder, I simply love this anarkali.

Hate those peep-toe clogs though.

In Sabyasachi

Oooh! We have another Sabya fan in da house. While I loved the brick red portion of Shabana’s sari wasn’t a fan of the green folds. But, the sari wasn’t her biggest problem. It was the high-neck blouse that did Ms. Azmi in. A regular 3/4 length blouse would have been just right for her look.

Seeing Red

The leading ladies did red at this red-hot premiere but while one had us go chic, one made us scream eeeks!

Who gets your vote?

P.S. It saddens us to say but that is a Sabyasachi on Vidya. Rani is in Donna Karan.

Fitted Vs Flared

I was in doubts whether the anarkali seen on Madhuri was a Sabyasachi or not. While the velvet and mixture of patterns are very Sabya, the gold patti along the skirt is what threw us off. (Update: It is a Sabya. Thanks for the confirmation everyone.)

No doubts about the fitted churidaar suit though. That was a trademark Sabya and we’ve got to say, the fitted silhouette looks so much better on her! Which look do you prefer?
