At Isha’s Sangeet, spotted Ms. Kataria Puri wearing a dress from her own Fall 09 collection. You know us, we always appreciate a designer wearing her own, something which she often does. Question though is, do we like this one?

For us, it’s an ‘Almost’. While it’s festive enough for the occasion (even though it’s a gown and a black one at that at a Sangeet which traditionally is frowned upon but this one was no traditional Sangeet with it’s theme), all that hair was just so distracting. Had she pulled back her hair, the overall effect would’ve been so much better.

Often caught going overboard with a color scheme, this time Divya Khosla did it with accessories. She paired a Monogram Multicolore canvas by Takashi Murakami Louis Vuitton Speedy with a scarf of the same print and Vuitton sandals also from the same collection. Gosh, when will she get it! We give up!

Divya also went on to try on one Ms. Pria Kataria Puri’s designs at the store. Gosh, don’t think we want to even begin to imagine how badly this one will turn out in real life!

At designer Pria Kataria Puri’s Fall collection preview at ‘Kimaya’, Amrit picked the same dress to model that she also wore on the designer’s Fall 09 runway! If you ask us, we didn’t like it either on the runway or off it!

As much as I love her hair and that flower on Amrit, am too distracted by her holding up the dress. Can’t help but think of a certain men’s clothing item that starts with an ‘L’! :P (Thanks to you, ‘sue’, we’ve got that image in our heads!)
