At the launch of a new label, Poorna was spotted wearing a white Rahul Mishra jacket dress from the designer’s Spring 2015 collection. Letting the embroidery on the dress take center stage, she kept the styling simple opting for a nude look and subtle gold sandals.

She looked great!

We always love seeing new designers and giving us our first ever real-life sighting of the brand MIUNIKU was Poorna at the Grazia Cover Girl Hunt. The brand started by sisters Tina and Nikita doesn’t have a big following yet but we see that changing soon.

Coming back to Ms. Jagannathan, while the simple styling made the overall look really stand out, the dress itself needed to be a tad more fitted. It felt too baggy on Poorna.

P.S. She is carrying an Anusha Lalwani clutch.

Wearing a Rahul Mishra sheath, Poorna attended the opening presentations at Lakme Fashion Week. With her hair up, Jamini Ahluwalia earrings, Isharya ring and Zara ankle-strap sandals finished out her look. She looked great! (Except for her make-up that just didn’t photograph well under all the camera flashes.)

Poorna attended the Grazia Young Fashion Awards wearing a Gaurav Gupta lamé gown. We’ll be the first to admit, we aren’t fans of the material but Gaurav’s latest collection did make us sit up and take notice and this one surely caught my eye.

In the absence of all the camera flashes, I can imagine the fluid metallic gown probably looked hot! Unfortunately, on camera, it’s hard to get a good read. The fabric issue aside, my bigger issue with the look is the fit. The gown almost seems too big on Poorna. That and the earrings, and it all just seemed too much to absorb.

Not working. Not one bit.

Wearing a Dior dress, Poorna put in an appearance at a recent soirée. Pink pumps, color-blocked Ferragamo clutch and earrings from Koëcsh finished out her look.

One to almost always get it right, this look didn’t quite pass muster. Sleeker hair, less obtrusive pair of earrings and different pumps would’ve really helped but as it stands, the look just didn’t quite come together. Let’s call this one a Not Quite!
