Having seen the original version, wish Nita had kept the cape on.

Shilpa attended the Filmfare Awards on Saturday evening wearing a yellow Manish Malhotra gown featuring a ruffled thigh-high slit. Having seen so many of Mr. Malhotra’s ornate floral floor-length anarkalis, this relatively simple one sure made for a nice change. I just wish Ms. Shetty had picked a minimalist sandal to go with it.

The Oscar De La Renta pumps were a bit distracting and frankly, I didn’t even like them.

Her jewellery is from Heeramaneck And Son.

At Manish’s party for Suzy Menkes, Sridevi did white on white in a lace Oscar De La Renta top. Her grey Hermès Kelly clutch and snake-skin Louboutin finished out her look.

Given the setting, the look worked.

While everyone went the formal desi route, Mrs. Poonawalla dared to be different in leather separates and a dramatic Oscar De La Renta ruffled cape.

Unfortunately, as much as I love Natasha, given the event, this outfit looked a bit ridiculous. Yep, you heard me right. Unless the party invite read channel your inner Catwoman with a twist, this outfit just didn’t make sense for a pre-wedding party.

Katrina did pink at the Filmfare Glamour and Style Awards wearing a strapless Oscar De La Renta gown and sporting a hot pink lip.

Given that Ms. Kaif is not big into taking risks with her hair, all that one really can focus on in her looks is the outfit itself. Unfortunately with the creases, the gown didn’t quite add that punch.
