At the recent wedding reception, Vidya was photographed in a Gaurang sari. Wearing her hair up, she rounded out the look with a bindi, matching potli from Aloha and jewelry from Karpagam.
She looked lovely. That said, would’ve loved to see a wispier updo or a soft, messy braid with the sari.

Kangana attended Sonam and Anand’s wedding reception wearing a silk kanjeevaram Gaurang sari gifted to her by her sister Rangoli. I do love that she picked a personal piece for the occasion but was iffy on the hair. Between the color of the hair and the border of the sari, the look felt oddly match-ey and too one-toned, something that could’ve been avoided if she’d worn her hair in an updo.

Keerthy opted for a traditional look at the audio release of Mahanati wearing a cream Kanchi silk by Gaurang with a bright red blouse. I love the sari but between the big earrings, choker, glossy red lips and bindi, I feel like one element should’ve been skipped. Perhaps the earrings could’ve been swapped for a smaller pair. What say you?

Looks like we spoke to soon about Ms. Balan retiring her saris because she was back sporting one by Gaurang at a crafts related event in Hyderabad on Thursday.
I normally don’t like very broad borders on sari, that’s a personal preference, but she just looked so good here. Loved everything there.
