Our fav TV gal Archie presented Zee Chairman Subhash Chandra with the Directorate Award at the 39th International Emmy Awards. Am not quite sure if the ombré gown is orange toned or pink toned in nature but I do like it overall although Priyanka thinks the shrug takes away from the look. What do you think?

It was a navy blue Carolina Herrera gown for Padma Lakshmi at the Emmys which she accessorized with a necklace from her own collection (one which we loved).

I love the color on her and as much as the minimalist in me rejoices in her gradual move (away) from this infamous appearance, I can’t help but wish for slightly more dramatic hair and make-up.

After featuring in Dazed and Confused, model Lakshmi Menon makes appearance in Vogue US. The spread, shot in Goa by Mikael Jansson, features Lakshmi in a variety of whites and colored outfits…

I so badly want that Ports 1961 dress… Any that jump out at you?

P.S. Boy, are we jealous that an item on our Lust List made its way onto Lakshmi! She makes it look sooo goood.

A Spring Swirl

A heavy dose of petals, leaves, stems and all kinds of flowers were seen in collections of various designers in their Spring 2008 Ready-To-Wear collections! ‘Floral’ never looked so good before!

Some were seen on very structured outfits, some on not as much, sometimes the colors were a vibrant multi-color explosion of palette and then sometimes there was the dulled monochromatic play but still just as vibrant!

I have never been one for anything floral but how do you say no to Oscar De La Renta or Carolina Herrera? Have you seen those outfits?

Of course, not all that I saw was good (that Valentino outfit!!), but for now, lets only dwell on the fashionably divine.
