Most of the time I am disappointed by Amrita because she never makes enough of an effort to add the finishing touches. She’ll either wear a good dress but neglect hair/makeup or wear great shoes with a bad dress or both. No such complains about Ms. Rao, who at the launch party of Maxim’s latest issue (featuring her) looked fab in a black ~~Swapnil Shinde~~ Rajat Tangri dress. Any other day, messy hair would have finished the look but not today.

P.S. She looks so good (in comparison to her many appearances before) that I am willing to ignore those slight creases on the dress.

P.P.S: A ‘Yay’ for Swapnil Shinde who has styled Amrita for the event.

It started with Giselli walking for Ritu Kumar and ended with Amrita Rao for Manish Malhotra but the most attention grabbing showstopper of KFW had to be Mandira Bedi who walked for Satya Paul. Shock value was what Puneet Nanda (designer of Satya Paul) was goin for and shock they indeed do. Too bad the sari which was quite beautiful, didn’t get any attention. :P
