Jeez this is way to black goth for me, sans any sort of color relief. I like the way Lisa Ray has done (he sighting is in black right below Tabu on your page), she got the balance right. In Tabu’s case it looks like a funereal ghost popping out of nowhere and the chalky make up only enhances this vibe

I would have preferred all black (tunic and leggings) look. The gold studs are jarring. She should have worn a long necklace to break the all black look. Also, there’s just too much make-up.
I think this is way better than the usual over-embroidered Anarkali with 10000 yards of fabric wrapped around the body and a dupatta thrown in over and above this. My hop is that a new Indian sophisticated look emerges out of the effort of stylists and designers which embraces the notion, less is more!
Except for the makeup issues…I love the whole look….black studded leggings look nice.
