In Manish Malhotra
It was a Manish Malhotra sari for Sridevi while at the Mumbai Film Festival’s opening night event. She looked great but we had a teeny gripe with the choice of jewelry. With her hair worn that way and that sari, she just didn’t need that massive necklace.

The wide pink border on the saree bothers me more than the necklace, which by the way is really pretty! Not feeling the hair either.
True.
MM needs to retire.
ya, the necklace is gorgeous, esp in comparison to the sari.
agree with above! border is too wide and hair should have been different, perhaps more formal??
Looks good, necklace and the whole nine yard.
Too much going on with the border and the jewelry.
one of the very few MM sarees i actually like. the border doesn’t bother me for two reasons: one, Sridevi’s tall enough to carry it off and two, it’s only on one side
I’ve noticed these type of kundan necklaces look better on handloom sarees. Diamonds may have suited better for this. Don’t like her hair at all here and the colour of that saree is blinding!
My eyes, they hurt.
Nice saree which looks great on her, but I do think her hair needs to be cut; it looks uneven especially in the part she has swept forward.
It’s a horrible saree, let’s face it. She’s better of wearing the kind of sarees she wore playing her character in English Vinglish and even tying up her hair like that. Simple but correct.
Honestly, I don’t why these stars waste their money on these “designer” saris when it is so easy to find much better ones in your local sari store. What a bunch of crock. Now along with designer bags, shoes, sunglasses, backpacks, no one can be caught with a sari, no matter how wonderful, that doesn’t have designer label. Unfortunately this silly label craze is catching on everywhere. What amount creativity is there in this sari. It is a piece of cloth with an eight inch border slapped on. Wake up people!
hideous sari—where are those dreamy kanjeevarams(sp) she used to wear–can she mail them to me?
