In Tarun Tahiliani
Wearing a look hot off the Tarun Tahiliani S/S 14 runway, Sonam attended a recent album launch. Wearing her hair up, she finished out the look with a Bottega Veneta clutch, strappy sandals and a jaw-dropping necklace.
The draped dhoti-sari is perfect for the leggy actor; Sonam wears it well! She looked good.

Isnt that a slight variation of the traditional Maharashtrian way of wearing a saree?
Agree – looks like a white nauvari!
She is looking great! Love the way its draped!
She needs to fix her makeup. Concealer looks so chalky and overall she looks dull.
yay! she is back. looks good.
Lovee this look on her..
She looks great!
Not that she doesn’t look lovely, I just think she would have looked better if she had draped the saree the normal way. It’s an elegant saree though (I am definitely old fashioned). But that necklace is gorgeous.
She just rocks the sari..draping n the necklace..she can easily open a style school for all young inspirants…muaah….you amaze gal…
The way she wrapped the sari gives off a very Anamika Khanna vibe. But she def looks pretty and well put together here!
I love this look. Wish it would get more common, so city people could wear it on the streets.
If you are from Chennai which I think you might be, I am sure you would have seen some of the Telugu workers in Chennai wearing saris this way. I have seen them when I was a kid not sure about now though.
How did you figure out the women workers in chennai are telugu people from their neighbouring state? The same way u assumed where Kasthuri is from:) This saree did not do any good for Soanam.
Simple. Since they all speak Telugu. It’s not assumption actually, it is observation. :P
This is one of her best and most interesting looks in recent times! A look that others have tried in past but she nails it completely without looking as trying too hard!
I love that she has fun dressing up and is not afraid to take risks. She rocks this outfit!!!!
She’s done a similar look a couple of years before! How could you girls miss that?! As far as I can recall, it was a white draped number by Anamika (I think) and a very similar (if not the same) necklace!
She looks well put together. However my only gripe is that she seems to be wearing those sandals more often. It’s boring and given the access she has to shoes galore im sure she can pick something more fun.
she looks gorgeous.,. <3
Love her look as always, and esp love those sandals that she too has taken a fancy for. The last few sightings had her sporting the same footwear.
While she looks nice since she has ’em legs to carry off such dhoti saris. But it makes her look much matured and gives a bit of an aayah vibe. And as always her makeup is pretty bad. The model nails this look even without any jewelry on her. Love it on the runway.
My! How pretty does she look! Love it head to toe! I am so going to buy this or an Anamika Khanna kurta-saree for my next family event!
I’m a traditionalist when it comes to sarees, but Sonam looks great! Very edgy!
Well since is ultra traditional – looks like it came from mahabharat (in a good way)!
She is looking smashing here! Love the simple yet chic look …..
Love, love, love this look!
Sonam looks great! And i guess those are her favorite pair of sandals now, given the fact that she wears them everywhere!
OMG, simple and stunning!
I really think she needs to change her make up artist. As far as the look is concerned she can carry off just about anything.
Stunning head to toe..
I dont want to be a ‘spoiler’ but when I saw the saree it kinda reminded me of those ‘prison’ sarees that actresses wore in 70’s n 80’s hindi movies . Anyone agree?
Jokes apart, Sonam does look nice.
Love the look! Anybody knows the brand of those strappy sandals. So want to get me one of those:)
She looks fabulous! Love the styling – head to toe.
As far as the saree goes, am I the only one reminded of Mother Teresa by the border??
On the first look, she reminded me of a maharashtrian kaam wali bai :P
