It was a full-skirted Swapnil Shinde dress for Sonali while at a recent event. And a pair of earrings and metallic Tamara Mellon sandals were her accessories of choice. She wears the custom dress well; Sonali looked nice.

“She wears the custom dress well” – am I looking at the same pictures? Such heavy handed makeup and unkempt hair. A more natural look, with soft braid would have balanced that very bright pink wannabe prom dress.

this is custom ? should have customized more around breasts (or are we still calling them girls/twins ?).. almost feels like something is poking out
She looks charming, but the dress is not as much. The color looks good on her, but I am never a fan of these Barbie doll pinks for grown women. For a custom dress, the fit at the bust is sloppy and her hair needs taming.
If you guys watched Swapnil Shinde on project runway, you’ll know he was repeatedly told that his finishing was off. He pretty much was asked to leave because of it.

I don’t agree with comments here about it not being age appropriate; we all can and should wear whatever we want to, feel like, are comfortable with and feel confident in.
Sonali’s makeup and hair should have been better tailored (pun not intended) to the dress here.

Exactly! That’s another backward thought that it’s not age appropriate. Some narrow minded people have instilled those thoughts and it is limiting ourselves. We can wear anything we like as long as we are comfortable in it. Of course office, schools, worshiping places, meditation places need some dress code. Otherwise nobody gives a damn in this age and time.
She looks lovely, I am surprised she picked such a bright color for as far as I have seen Sonali prefers muted colors or black .. A nice change ..
Fit of the dress is off. She has a gorgeous face but that hairline-waxing whatever is ruining all the looks (for me). What a beauty she was in that Kadhalar Dinam movie. <3
