In Sabyasachi
While on the sets of a television show, Rani picked a beige Sabyasachi to wear. She kept her look simple by opting to leave her hair loose, wear black sky-high peeptoes and finish out the look with a small black bindi.
The lack of a dupatta or the deceivingly simple outfit doesn’t bother me. I do however wish she had done some thing more with her hair. And used some jewelry to add bit of a punch to the look. It was a little too vanilla otherwise.

wowwww wat dress
What a terribly boring putfit, that too in a donkey gray color and does nothing for Rani except make her look frumpy.
Cannot believe this is a Sabya, sigh…
LOL @ donkey gray.
I think she kept it simple to not clutter things more than they are with the black sludge up front @ the knees.
abs love the outfit! but you are right; perhaps a black net dupatta would have worked…
the hemline is so cheap-looking.
The kurta needed sleeves and an ombre dupatta…or may be a statement necklace in black!! It’s too blank looking waist up and doing nothing for Rani!
Needs a dupatta for sure, perhaps in black, to lift the outfit.
Just because its Sabya you call this “deceptively simple”???? Come on this is a seriously ugly outfit. Does absolutely NOTHING for Rani.
The fit is completely off!!
Lovely colour and could have been elegant. But the fit really ruins it.
I don’t mind the outfit as it is but she looks stubby, not glamorous.
Wonder whose idea it was to go without the dupatta. Doesnt seem like Sabya’s sensibility.
There is a version of this with a vintage floral kurta churidar print and a mustard yellow net on top. Wish she had chosen that instead … this grey one is way tooo boring.
Shapeless.
She could have nailed this look by individualizing it. Such a shame. A statement necklace in a deep coral or emerald would have looked stunning.
A maroon Dupatta and some statement earrings and bangles would have totally upped this boringgggg look!
ill-fitted and bad bad hair make it look more so.
Love the outfit. Also, why don’t you guys get a pinterest button for your pics? There is a major dearth of Indian wear on Pinterest boards!
