Continuing to keep things simple and fuss-free on this promo tour, Rani picked fail-safe separates for a recent appearance of hers. Wearing her hair down, she rounded out the look with a pair of oversized wire-rim glasses and black Chanel pumps.
Not much to write home about, but it was a look that worked for her.

I will totally wear this combination, love the shoes
there’s something about her that just doesn’t make outfits work unless she’s wearing a saree. it’s not her height. plenty of people who are 5 ft. tall manage to rock outfits, but she somehow always comes off looking tacky or wannabe or dressed for middle school. idk why. she looks so amazing in a saree, so why doesn’t she carry off other clothing with equal elan? weird. with all the $$$ she has, you’d think she’d get a stylist given that she has no innate sense of style. innerwear issues with this outfit, and the monochrome is cutting her in half, making her look short despite those heels.
Sad but true. Its the same with Vidya Balan as well – Rocks the saree and nothing else!
Not too crazy about the glasses, covers too much of that gorgeous face. I like the ‘safe’ outfit; she wears it well. A long necklace would have elevated this look.
