In Jayanti Reddy

While at a recent wedding in Hyderabad, Pragya was photographed in a Jayanti Reddy lehenga. Jewelry from Ghanasingh Be True and a Bottega Veneta clutch rounded out the actor’s look.

Personally, not a fan of that choli/blouse; it really brought down the beautiful lehenga a notch. That said, there’s no denying Ms. Jaiswal fared better than most others would’ve in it. She made it work for her and looked lovely while at it.

  1. I am unfortunately, a prude. This overwhelming love for bralette/bustier tops in traditional attires baffles me. I know that wearing lehengas and sarees in fun, expermentative ways is in right now. And that’s fine. But always? Every Single Time? Cholis are getting shorter, blouses are non-existent. I mean, we are mostly dressed in casuals, separates, etc. Can’t our rarely worn traditional beauties be sacrosanct, at least sometimes?

    • Is it really always and every single time though? It might feel that way because you’re seeing them on many people but for those individuals themselves, it may be one of the only times. In the greater picture, traditional blouses are still more prevalent.

  2. The out fit looks perfectly fine. I can say it is not for everyone, but for someone who is in show business this outfit is perfectly fine. Nothing wrong in experimenting. By the way no this is not a bralet

  3. Is it just me or anyone else felt this is Parineeti seeing the first two pics?

The lehenga and dupatta are beautiful. And the color suits her to the T. Not too happy about the bralet passing off as a choli. A cropped short-sleeved choli was the best way to go with this outfit.
