Wearing fusion saris featuring gold pants, Sonakshi and Sara attended Dinesh and Pramita’s wedding reception on Friday evening. Even though I found it hard to believe that Sonakshi’s was an Anamika Khanna, I wish she’d worn silver pants instead of the gold ones. I also think a good pleated drape might have served her better.

As for Sara, just could not bring myself to like either the color combo or the blouse. Is that an Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla? If it is, that is another surprise right there.

These ladies attended producer Dinesh Vijan and Pramita Tanwar’s wedding reception on Friday evening wearing gowns. While Vaani wore a Falguni and Shane Peacock strapless beaded one, Diana opted for an floral applique one by Sharnita Nandwana.

Divya and Bhumi were seen in tiered gowns with the former wearing a Sonaakshi Raaj and the latter in an Ohaila Khan.

Did you have a favorite? Even though Diana was an instant favorite more for the finishing touches, it was nice to Vaani do better. Especially after this last appearance.

The Ambani-Piramal reception took place on Friday evening in Mumbai where the newly weds were finally spotted together. Surprising, the bride who wore Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla for her wedding and Manish Malhotra to her sangeet, opted for a custom lehenga by Valentino. Can’t say we are surprised.

The question is, will more international labels start catering towards the Indian market. We know Needle & Thread making a sari last year that was available on Net-A-Porter. Guess, time will tell!

Wearing her Mom’s sari which she seems to have converted into a lehenga (going by her IG post), Esha attended the Ambani-Piramal wedding reception on Friday evening.

I like the idea of transforming the sari but given the dull gold border, I wish she’d gone easy on the jewellery and the eye makeup.
