Wearing an embellished Kaufmanfranco tulle dress, Niamat attended an event launching Bvlgari in India. Some serious bling, Kotur clutch and ankle-strap Jimmy Choos finished out her look. And the ever important finishing touches came via a soft, low ponytail, nude lip and smokey eyes. Wouldn’t change a thing; she looked great!

  2. She looks fantastic. I have to add though that I am hoping Aishwarya Rai Bachan catches a glimpse of this pic because here is a perfect example of a great hairstyle.

  3. Guys, while I agree with many things you’ve said. I think you are being unfair. I live in Delhi and know who she is. She’s a human rights lawyer who worked with the UN and currently runs the addiction unit at fortis hospitals in India. Leaving her style choices aside if she likes to dress up and gets featured on the blog what’s that big deal? More juice for the readers!!

    • Her sartorial choices and her professional background are mutually exclusive for the purposes of a fashion blog. National award winning actors, ladies of leisure, artists etc are scrutinized the same. Also, it’s rather evident this blog is scoured for comments and people kinda sorta pay heed. In this case the look is forced and coquettish ( going by the comments thus far). What she does when she isn’t preening/pouting isn’t our business tbh.

    • I disagree. If she’s a human rights lawyer, it makes her look frivolous and silly to keep getting featured on fashion blogs in short shimmery outfits and pounds of make-up and unnaturally colored hair.

It’s one thing for Bollywood starlets but if you’re in a profession that needs to be taken more seriously and you show up looking like a C- grade reality TV star to every “hot” event in town, you’re not doing any favors to your career or the people you’re trying to help.

      • The assumption is the lawyering bit is a real gig. Some people ‘run a medical unit’ / work with the UN etc before they find their true calling–featuring on HHC on a regular basis that is :) Perhaps being a socialite gives her the high that all the other stuff doesn’t. No judgement.

  4. The parted lips pose is too forced. She may have managed to get all the brands and the look in theory but in practice her looks are never classy. Maybe the hair, maybe the dress length. There’s something off.

  5. She looks good but How come no one else from the event was featured? And her pictures are on the site at night before even sonam’s! That’s odd. she’s a housewife of a rich husband who only wants to be in magazines. the human rights law was 10 years ago and the school is run by other people not her-everyone knows this that she just uses it so doesnt look like a bored socialite.

  6. apart from all the names attached that’s a very average unimpressive seen-it-a-hundred-thousand-times look…not the greatest dress looks like a Bollywood background dancer wld be put in a version of it…more name than anything in that pic…it’s a pouty woman in a black dress with shimmer with black shoes and a black bag! style, no. cash, yes. since when did we start to reward just cash?
