From the background of these pictures it hardly looks less like a genuine homey Iftar party and more like a movie premiere. Guess there was sponsors other than Ekta.
After seeing some other pictures i realize that Ekta used the chance for promoting her upcoming film.. sigh…

I love Mini’s sari too. She not only knows how to pick a sari but also wear/drape it well. She should offer classes to other Btown gals on how to drape sari.
it’s a banarasi brocade. I wore a similar saree for my sister’s wedding :)

Love love Mini’s look…. Perfect hair, Saree, smile et al… I like Tabu’s look as well just that I have never liked sheer net sarees draped like this where your midriff shows bare….

Mini looks so fresh and good! Tabu could’ve used a different hairstyle and a less in-you-face make-up, but other than that, she looks good.
Mini looks timeless! love the saree, the jewellery, the batwa…everything comes together so well.
I am not a big fan of net/see through sarees, but I think Tabu looks really hot in hers! She also has the body to carry it and does so more elegantly than others.
Mini of course looks great. I don’t like net sarees at all but is wearing hers well.
