Personally, I find it hard to reconcile with high-low kurtas/tops in Indianwear; the proportions just seem off to me! That said, Maria has this certain joie de vivre about her that makes almost everything work. This included.

not fan of hi low kurta but its the salwar that is looking bad here…
I really like this, and would completely wear it myself, apart from those curtain tassels hanging down the back.
She is just simply elegant …. and pulls off a risque look like this really well …..

The look work on her, I like her choice of footwear too. I wish she’d opted for a more subtle li colour, though.
