Though neither shoe choice worked, Maria went from looking fantastic at the Fashion Week to choosing a dress that completely threw us off at a recent do. That blue dress was just so, so wrong! As were the platform sandals.

Bubble hems are tricky but I like the blue dress on Maria. It’s fine. But pink satin on the shoes, no no no.
She should just stick to saris. Both looks fail miserably, especially the second one. I shudder at the atrocious dress and shoes.
Also P&P, you guys should feature South actresses again on here, it’s been ages since I’ve seen a Samantha post or even Lakshmi Manchu :P
Nope. Not working at all. Maria is a beautiful woman who does the simple, non-fussy, happy, desi really well, she should stick to that and leave the blingy, satiny, shiny (not in a good way) to the er ‘fashionista’ brigade.
Here second outfit reminds me of a contest they had in project runway where designers had to make outfits out of a parachute…She looks like she is wearing a parachute :)
I never did like bubble hems. That blue monstrosity makes a perfectly lovely woman look like a balloon about to float away.
Undoubtedly, she does the desi look way better. And the blue dress has nothing going for it but still Maria manages to look decent.
