LFW Winter/Festive 2012: Payal Khandwala
We loved Payal Khandwala’s debut collection and this presentation titled ‘Sadhu and the Samurai’ seemed an extension of it. Present was the same easy, pared down DeBo vibe. What was new however was the overture to a little more emphasis to form and play with drape. Two collections down, the designer has an unmistakable aesthetic and we’d love to see how it evolves with the next presentation.

Interesting collection. A bit of fabric overload though.
gorgeous collection!
Payal has been a student of Wendel Rodricks and the influence is unmistakable. But a worthy debut and lets hope she evolves a distinct style in the coming months.
Wow!!!
