The saree look is messy an activist-ish. I like the one in black better. She looks like a little girl in pattu pavadai. Wish the skirt were a little longer.
Just out of curiosity-how come no one notices her messy draping while everyone goes berserk if VIdya Balan does the same. Seem s unfair. I love both women and their saris; the way I see it, messy pleating will eventually occur after you’ve worn a sari for a while and moved around in it. Perfect draping stays perfect only if you don’t move at all while wearing a sari, and that seems a bit unnatural.
doesnt she have too many outfits in the same black fabric. Remember she wore a dress made of the same fabric in Wake up Sid

Totally agree with you!
I agree about it looking like a pattu paavadai. I love both the looks. The saree is simple and nice too.
i didnt know activists had a “look”.
I also prefer the saree look. But that desi maxi is interesting.
the saree is something usual.. i think the skirt n blouse is super cute.. for an adult , she carries it off amazingly without looking silly :)
I wish she would startch her sarees & wear some bangles.
What are you talking about !! that sari is soooo blahhhh !! :p
I couldent agree more… If this is an appearance she is being paid for….I would feel sorry for the sponsors. …. The black one could have been better
I like the look in black better. The sari look is a bit too plain and the sari itself looks crumpled.
I prefer the black outfit on her.
I love how comfortable she looks in the saree. If I lived in India, I would gladly dress like this everyday
