its not thaat uncommon…preity, bipasha, priyanka had short hair cuts. probably some more, but these are the names i remember right now…but i get you point, its not that common among actresses…unfortunately!
it must have taken a huge amount of mousse and hair spray to get her hair in that position.

I have had the same hairstyle. I love experimenting with my hair. I love this look on her. Suits her very well. It does take a lot of ironing to keep it that way (was especially bad for me as I have curly hair – and so does Kangana), if it isn’t a wig!!
I might be the only one here who dislikes the hair and the pout. Not flattering.

She’s always been gutsy and fearless from the roles she’s played to the way she’s rocked out fashion wise… this sets her apart, she’s not just a “pretty” girl turned actress who only cares about looks – she actually likes to change characters and try out new avatars. That truly makes her an artist and in a dif league from the other models uff actors. She looks amazing, her hair, her eyes, and she always looks different not same old same old!!!! I am not really understanding why kangana should be labeled a fashion icon? more times than not she looks horribly tacky to me. I do admit she looks great in this pictures, but some of her other styles have been awful to just plain ordinary.

I wouldnt call her an “icon” because most Indian celebs go either with brand names (see sonam) or with what’s in at the moment. But I hardly ever see soemone actually showing their personal style. If someone has their own stylist, I can’t call that person a style icon if in reality its not even their style!
