For the premiere of a recent movie, Kalki picked what looked like a cotton sari paired with a quirky printed blouse.
Is the sari-drape a deal-breaker for you? Though am mostly a purist when it comes to sari drapes, much to my surprise there’s something about this look that I like. Maybe because Kalki looks completely unaffected and adorable?

I love it! She looks fabulous! The only thing that I would have changed is the earrings: I’d have prefferred silver jhumkas instead of the hoops, but it’s just a minor peeve of mine. Love the saree and the blouse combo!
+1.. jhumkas would’ve elevated this look but love the unique drape. Kalki carries it off with class.
Love, love, love this look. She looks so cute. I am not a drape purist, I have seen women in the South go about their daily routine with all manners of haphazardly draped saris. They have all looked beautiful nevertheless.

Why not use a sarong instead? It looks totally wierd to me.
