In Tarun Tahiliani
It was a gold-toned Tarun Tahiliani sari for Kajol at a recent wedding reception in Mumbai. A matching clutch (also by the designer) and traditional jewelry rounded out the actor’s look. While Kajol wears it well, the sari itself isn’t quite my cup of tea.

She looks overwhelmed in all that glitter.
She should have ditched the jewelry with such a blinged out sari. Also it looks like her unibrow from the 90’s is back.
where is the clutch?
Such an ugly saree. It has stuff growing on it. YUCK!!!
What is even happening with that embroidery/stone work? It looks like someone chewed up thread and stones and threw up on that saree. Kajol looks absolutely stunning neck up!
What an ugly saree! Cheap and tacky.
Neither is the sari good nor does she wear it well. Why were most of the celebs dressed so badly, I cannot fathom
She took ‘badan pe sitaare lapete hue’ song literally ! and the eye make up seems off.
Face palm emoji! That’s it!
What a hideous sari . And that hairdo and Jewellery are just making it worse
kajol should not wear a sleeveless blouse it looks bad .
Unable to fathom what exactly is “designer” about this saree.
I’m aware that stars like Kajol get it for free, but are mere plebs like myself expected to fork out cash for this atrocity?
(Let’s not even go into the terrible cakey makeup, face four shades lighter than the rest of her body)
Do designers and their employees sit and cook up ideas on how to make a tacky saree ?! Seriously what fabric is this ?! Theatre screen ? Heck, I’ve seen public transport buses who have seats covered in materials better than this one here.
She dressed so nicely for Rajnikanth’s daughter’s wedding , why this horrible saree for Mumbai ?
The fabric is so bad … the color and hair makes her look so old
These are the designs which make you think the designer is having a ‘designer’s block’.
Or I think they just outsource it to someone and just add their name/label .Only explanations I can think of for a popular designer to be churning out such stuff .
PnP you should do posts on evolution of designs or designer over the years and cover one designed per month.
