She looks really nice. The colors aren’t bright yet the outfit looks attractive.
I love it. The shade is perrfect.
fab!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
surprisingly out of all the velvet outfits you guys have posted so far, i like this the best..maybe because she has the confidence and personality to pull it off and the beige and gold compliments the burgandy velvet really well..Jaya could learn a tip or 2 from Ila on how to pull of a shalwar kameez! I think this is fab!
absolutlie…it soo does..i thnk itz realiie vvv classii..ve hardly seen sumthng in velvet so gud…nn the colors r actulie stunning!
forget the suit, i cant see anything past that bhindi!
This looks good..but only on Ila. Her flamboyant style seems to work well with velvet. I love the motifs on the kurta.
I like it. Just not on her.
she carries it off well. this outfit+ that bindi shouts ila Arun.
The dress is alright, but a different fabric would have been better. She looks nice. I wish she’d paired it with less chunky earrings and a smaller bindi.
i love this one,…finally velvet done right..
i like it, although its too much velvet it still looks ok with the neck and the sleeve detailing… and it may shine a lot in the picture but it does not look very shiny in person, better than all the other velvet stuff we seen here!!!
Plus very good choice of footwear, she looks nice and it suits her…. IT gets my vote!!!!!!!!!!!
love it
best velvet outfit so far!
beautiful!
It works! Much better than Jaya Bachan’s pink tent!
Ila looks great!
love it!
Fabbbbbbb
all the wayyyyyy fabbbb
the color, footwear, everything’s working for her,, and velvet is so much in trend these days. I love this dress!!!
best velvet so far for sure
I’ve only seen velvet as a trend in India- and I’m having a hard time embracing it
the earring are fugly
luv the colour, and combination of it wid beige is awesome…
n since its ila arun wearing tht.. she luks awesome!!!!
I have to ask this cause i am not indian, why they draw this long thing on their forehead, I thought it should be round and if its long it means evil, am I right
Looks good in a picture. Not sure how i may react if i see that outfit on her in person.
I liked everything about her. Her dress to her slippers. It suits her and she carries it with confidence…..that’s what matters.
i love it..minus the velvet part..but the colors and work is beautiful
@me – Traditionally a bindi is supposed to be round. But people get creative with it and it can be long, triangular, oval, etc.
I have never heard of an ‘evil’ version of the bindi, in fact its supposed protect against bad stuff.
me,
LOL. I think you’ve watched too many Bollywood movies where the villian always has the big long tikka(mark) on his head… There is no significance to it being long or short. Just style. Like Rekha used to wear a huge big red one not between her eyes but much higher…
i’d never have thought i could have liked a velvet suit but i do!! she pulls it off
The slippers are from catwalk (available at Shoppers Stop, Lifestyle or their own outlets)..and are under a grand (rupees)…though I never thought i would see them make an appearance on this website :)
looks very good. i’m just astonished as to how she managed to find such a matching sandal with the work on the kurta. I’m sure they aren’t custom made.
She’s finally looking great. Love the velvet salwar-kameez. Jaya Bachchan needs to wear something like this.
Love it n she pulls it off great!
Yes! Works really well!
wow she does look good.. totally
i love the detail n the neck and sleeves
jaya aunty, please make mental note to self
