One In Every Color!
When you’ve got such a nice version already, why would you even buy the embroidered mess!

the dress on the left is similar to one I owned when I was 9(yr 2000). I think it’s fine and have to agree, it’s way better than the printed dress.
What’s with the huge soap opera style bindi’s though? Kinda creepy.
thats not a print its phulkariwork
That’s not printed………it’s “Phulkari” embroidery from Punajb.
Though that dose not make it better :)
I think that’s phulkari on the kurta and not a print. The shiney cuffs and the placket at the neckline are definitely not helping.
it seems like a mess either way. i never understand why going out for a party is equal to jhatak-matak.
and i hate it when people buy the same outfit in different colours. it feels like some sort of a uniform
I dont think thats printed. its Phulkari – traditional punjabi embroidary.
Hi payal ,the second messy kurta is not print but embroidery-Phulkari from punjab mostly used for dupattas.
But I agree the embroidered fabric could have had better uses.
Hmm true, although I dun care much for the velvet one either.
Not bad. This is actually not print but Fulkari ( Punjabi Embroidery).
You guys are right. Just saw a closeup and it was embroidery. Thanks!
I dont’ really like wiether as well, it’s sort of…gaudy
neither one of them cut it for me – loud, tacky and cheap
Ila and Kirron Kher have a very loud makeup style..
Don’t they !
Lol! This outfit reminds me of how some clothes with have a really wacky print sewn in on the underside of the really nice print, and how there people think “oh it’s reversible! I can wear it TWOOO ways!” when in fact, you cannot.
deewani! deewani toh deewani hai ::P
Phulkari dupattas worn with a plain salwar-kurta look amazing. Without the extra arm and neck embellishments even this would have looked very nice.
As for the bindi, it is Ila’s personal style and looks fabulous on her. How sad that traditional style elements have now been relegated to soap star territory.
