GORGEOUS!! Now this is how you wear a saree… absolutely breathtaking. Is this a banarasi saree?
Love her sari and love her earings…she looks beautiful.
she looks oh so gorgeous!!! beautiful saree..
How very lovely & event appropriate! Loving the retro hair…when someone gets it right everytime, it shows the difference between style & stylist!!
lovely.
I never liked these kinda sarees as I thought its something that women my mom’s age wear.. but on Dia wheww.. I am floored! I`m raiding my mom’s closet right now.
Dia is looking beautiful…n sari is to die for…:)..Bring on the Indian weaves and Textiles..
she looks stunning and elegant
Love love love love love love!
very pretty.love the benarasi saree. lovelyearrings too
Lovely saree and makeup. The hair however makes her look “Auntish”
actually what i meant to say was “lovely color”. The saree is too heavy for my taste. Makes her look 2 sizes bigger
if it isn’t form hugging,it makes her look over sized?
those 2 sizes bigger still makes her look small cause she has such a small waist anyway—she’s a perfect candidate to wear bulky sari’s…..whay i don’t get is how much more beautiful does she have to dress to get some decent roles—i see such star material in her……..
Beautiful! This is how you wear a sari with grace and panache. People like Vidya B should take some notes.
COme on, cut Vidya some slack..She’s one of the few who tries truly traditional sarees over slinky, see through ones..
As always, she got it right.
Soooo happy to see a trditional weave being worn by these bollies … FINALLY, someone gives credut to traditional sarees as opposed to those net/diamonte trash which is flung around and then worn with bikini tops a-la Bipasha ..
Phew ! Thank you Dia !
Gorgeous. Is it a Benarasi silk?
Love the saree and love the way she wore it including the perfectly fitting blouse. Wish she had worn a chain or a bindi or something other than the earrings. Nevertheless, it is a fab as it is. So glad to not see another shiny/net/transparent MM type saree.
Swoon, she looks lovely and so event appropriate. This is why I love the traditional weaves and not the chamak sarees.
What was life like before the fashion blogs?
I hardly watch Hindi movies and even for the regular watcher I don’t think Dia is among the top actresses?
But I remember Dia simply because she looks so divine on these pages. The woman is like a moving artwork.
PS: If someone casts her in a revival of the Muslim social I am buying a ticket for the film. She is spot on for those roles.
Actually if anyone did a revival of the Muslim social I would buy a ticket. I love those old movies – the tehzeeb, language and sheer romance of it! And of course the lovely clothes and grace they were worn with.
BUT i wouldn’t want remakes, would really spoil greats like Chaudhvin ka Chand or Pakeezah.
Elegance personified !!! I can’t take my eyes of her. The makeup is just perfect. Would have loved to see a bindi..but I am loving it altogether.
simply gorgeous……….
She looks beautiful as always although the benarsi saree is a tad mature looking for her – but I still love it so much more than the synthetic sarees everyone Dias age wear these days.
Wow.. Just so fabulous…Now I have to buy some traditional saris in silk.. So done of the net stuff..
Lovely jewellery, too. Dia has hit this one out of the ballpark. Amazing how effortless and elegant she makes everything seem.
Dia looks divine….really pretty! Beautiful saree and makeup. Not a fan of the hair but overall she looks fabulous!!
Don’t like the hair. If she had gone in for something else, it would have added a twist to the look and elevated it. But its still good as it is.
15/10 from me. 5 points extra for NOT wearing the blingy shit the biapas and aishwariyas wear.
Dont like the hair either, too 80’s for me , otherwise she looks fab
