not too bad. love several pieces except for the mermaid type gowns.
i agree
I like 4.1 the yellow flowery mermaid dress with laced bottom.
Though the ‘ramp style’ presentation is there, color & design wise nothing much of a designer look in them.
I think its absolutely awful! Random, heavy embellishment can’t make up for lack of creativity & structure.
The dresses are really revealing. Didn’t know that was allowed in India.
remember that rekha starrer film..”Hum hai maut ki vo express, duniya jise kehta hai MADAM X”
eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeew. horrendous crap. who is the inspiration for this collection?
Horrible!!!
it’s all too over the top. my eyes are hurting from all the bling.
some of the pieces r lust worthy!
About 40% of the collection is wearable, the rest is waiting for the Malaika Sherwats to wear.
lmao!!
Lol! Too good a post!! Agree agree…rofl!
The best ever show on Indian Ramp
This is a very sexy & exquisite collection. I actually like it. Can’t wait to see who has the guts to wear some pieces!
Not noteworthy on the indian aspect, but dresses are very hollywood.
Many designs looks desperate for appearing on magazine covers… too much drama..
But few are good.. But appears to have been inspired by international designers..
I can see inspirations taken from McQueen, past Rohit Bal collections and even a bit of Gaultier (The white transparent gown Rihanna wore at the Grammys)
Although I cant say I hate it all, the point of couture week is to show things that are usually not wear-able!
I don’t feel its OTT. Its a collection for the couture week..A lot of the designs are very good. Its great to see somebody experimenting on the fashion scene. Otherwise, most of the designers in India come up with the same old stuff every year. They play too safe…
The collection would be a visual pleasure to the guys seated on the front row…the target audience!!!
